Before believers were called Christians, they were known as followers of the Way. In this message, we explore what it truly means to follow Jesus—not just to believe in Him, but to apprentice our lives to Him. Jesus declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6), inviting us into a transformed way of living marked by peace, love, connection, and an extraordinary, abundant life. This sermon looks at how we are all being formed every day—by our habits, pace, anxieties, and influences—and asks the honest question: who (or what) is forming us?
Together we unpack:
-Following Jesus as apprenticeship, not just belief
-How intentional practices shape a Christlike life
-Why slowing down is essential for spiritual health
-The role of the Holy Spirit in transformation
-Community, grace, and living from connection—not striving This is an invitation to follow Jesus, to practice His way, and to experience the peace and fullness He promises. Not perfection—just faithful presence, formation, and love.
