She is trained by the Gottman Institute and by the Sexual Health Alliance. Please visit the Gottman Institute's website for more information on this evidence based approach. Sex therapy is a specialized type of therapy that addresses concerns about sexual function, health, sexual feelings and intimacy in individual sessions or sessions with your partner.

Just a quick note: this show is for education and conversation. It isn’t therapy, and it’s not a substitute for therapy. Sometimes I’ll have therapists and other professionals on the show, but this still isn’t personal clinical care. If you need support, please reach out to a licensed professional in your area. And if you’re in crisis or there’s an emergency, contact your local emergency services right away.

  • Matt Edge: Working with Men's Issues

Matt always knew he wanted to go into a career that allowed him to help people. Way before he knew anything about counseling, Matt set a goal to be the guy that makes the people around him happier, whether that be through trying to make someone laugh, giving a needed complement, or simply just being there when they needed someone to listen.

In pursuit of this goal, Matt graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in nutrition science. He then went on to the University of North Texas to collect his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Matt now holds the license of LPC-Associate, while also earning a National Certified Counselor (NCC) designation.
