This week I'll be reminiscing about my SE Asia experience from Vietnam, South Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & Bali.

I had a bit of a tech hiccup around the 9:40 mark so a bit of the audio was lost so the story might jump forward a bit but I tried my best to salvage it.

My previous episode was quite long (1hr 30 hours!!) which I thought was a bit much lol so I added extra material to the outtakes alongside some of the fumbles I often find myself privvy to.

In today’s episode I'll be covering my EPIC trip to SouthEast Asia that I went on by myself a few years ago. I haven’t spoken about my experience in much detail since I came back (or ever actually) so enjoy the stories of travels, partying, eating bugs (!) and more. I had so much to say and only covered half of the trip that I will have to do part 2 to get through it all. In this episode I'm going to speak about my experience in the following countries: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam. 

When I first started podcasting I noticed that I had a dry voice alot of the time and try as I might, it kept coming through on this episode. I think it's more in my head than anything but either way - here's what I didn't put into the 'polished' original episode. 

In this episode I’ll be delving into self help books that have been really valuable for me. I share extracts on conscious living from literary legends as well as tips that have helped me to navigate this technological era. I also shared some podcasts that I would highly recommend.

Seeing as I'm new to podcasting I'm 'finding my feet' as they say and that comes with a lot of practice - when speaking AND editing. I wanted to shine a light on those imperfections, as in my view this reflects the world we live in. 

In the first episode of Meliorism I explore social media's many uses alongside it’s emergence in the world. I have discussed the ways in which social media can have an impact on our emotional and psychological wellbeing whilst balancing this with a look into the positive elements it brings also. 

P.S. I also have a newfound appreciation for editing! This took around 4 hours to get to a place I was happy with. Mainly because I'm learning as I go but yeah, definitely not a quick task when you waffle as much as I do lol.

Today I'm airing the pilot to give you a feel of the content I'll be producing in the future. I'm new to editing so please bare with me. I thought the audio sounded fine initially, however I checked again with earphones a second time and it was only coming through on one earphone. I don't know why, it's very random lol.
