Melissa M. is a mother of 5, a spouse to a sex and food addict and is a recovering codependent. She found herself in the rooms of recovery with her husband starting in 2009, but only found herself in the rooms for her own personal healing and recovery in 2021 and has benefited greatly in her healing journey. Melissa is a talented carpenter and a home editor who enjoys blessing others with home organization and experiencing the power it holds in helping others, specifically in recovery, by bringing joy and clarity to space, mind and spirituality as it has in hers. She’s found that a home in order opens a pathway that aids in triumphant results in recovery across the board. Her story of finding healing from betrayal trauma and codependency is what she will be sharing with all of us today.

Reco12 is all about exploring the common threads of addiction and sharing tools and hope from those on a similar path. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and places to learn and support one another. Our speakers represent various fellowships, addictions, and afflictions, reflecting the richness of our shared experiences. Join us in this journey of recovery and unity.
