Penny K surfs between the two worlds of Djing and Dance. The Cyprus-based artist started as a funk styles dancer in 2014, when she first realized her love for music. There’s a certain aura that surrounds the music coming out of Romania. The scene, something that has been in existence since the early 90’s has long been acknowledged as a breeding ground for illustrious DJ’s and producer talent. Anyone with even a passing interest in underground electronic music will attest that. Having spent countless hours listening to a plethora of music genres while growing up in Romania, Miami-based Adrian developed a wide knowledge of music, which helped him craft a rich sound of his own.

atsou wasn’t into house music since he was 12. He didn’t dj at school parties, neither did he make mixtapes in secret at night. Since 2007 though, when he had his first contact with the club culture, he had the dream to fill his whole room with records and spin them. A lot. Everywhere. It doesn’t matter if it’s disco, deep, or afro. It just has to be full of soul.It’s just music, and it’s supposed to make you dance, smile and be who you wanted to be.

As a dj that has been closely associated with Madorasindahouse, atsou has been there since the early days of preaching the afro house gospel in Greece. Since then, he has played in well respected venues around Europe (Watergate / Katerblau in Berlin, Djoon in Paris and Raspoutine in Rome to name a few), developing his sound with different textures of the modern dance scene. Among co-running the Madorasindahouse Record Label and exploring the depths of house music for labels such as Kindisch, Connected and of course Madorasindahouse Records, he is always keen on discovering new sounds that will offer some extra spice on the dancefloor.
