In yet ANOTHER special episode giving us time to recover from the first season of Melrose Place, Mary and I challenge each other to prove the point.  We each had to re-watch an episode of season one that would be the hardest to prove the trashy/artsy point, and come to the defense of our argument anyway.

It's like high school debate club, but with lower stakes.

Was Sandy being mistreated by her friends while Paul was stalking her trashy?  Mary does her best to say it was.

And like that, Rhoda's story line is done.  In the weakest send off we can imagine, Rhonda is now off of Melrose Place, but she'll forever be on our minds.  This is a mini-episode to wrap up her story arc better than the writers did ... and by that we mean we'll try even a little bit.

As Mary says this week, "how exclusive!"  This week, we take a pause from watching new episodes and consider season one of Melrose Place as a stand alone piece of art/trash.  This means one thing: we get to talk a lot more about Sandy than we have in months.

Alison is being harassed by her boyfriend, Jane confronts Kimberly, Billy gets jacked, and Amanda gets a new job, a new apartment, and a new life.

Amanda Woodward is pregnant and Billy is the father and Alison is not in the mood to be a step mom.  Jane and Michael commit to marriage counseling, it's just a bummer that Michael has to drive so far twice a week.  And here on Melrose Place, we see the first televised incident of someone getting "Karened" - but it's not what you think.
