In this episode of Memory Lame we take a look at some more of our beloved childhood heroes.  From Ninja Turtles to Spiderman, we address some of the logical inconstancies in the creative choices made with these characters, like why you would give cartoon characters lethal weapons they weren't even allowed to use?  The 90s was also a wild time for very unrealistic live-action fight sequences, why were they always flipping?  Be sure to roundhouse kick this episode in the teeth and start your week off with a little jaunt down Memory Lame!

It's time to drop in and rip the vert of Memory Lame's latest episode.  In this episode we cover professional skateboarding, the Tony Hawks Pro Skater franchise, The N64 and Sega Genesis, and much, much more.  Don't let the security guards of life stop you from hittin' this sick 5-set of an episode with a crisp frontside flip to nose manny to casper slide to backside board slide to manny to 720 kickflip to indie nosebone, because that's what THPS taught us was possible.

In this episode of Memory Lame Scott and Josh reminisce of the glory days of growing up on Much Music, essentially the Canadian MTV.  We recount some of the networks greatest shows, in particular Pimp My Ride, which may have actually been more of a curse than a blessing to those who had to subject their rides to the incomprehensible nonsense that would become their 91' Honda Civic.  We also talk about how VJs (Video Jockeys) were a thing, and do a bit of a "Where Are They Now" with some of the most notable ones.  Relive the glory days of Canadian music culture!

In this episode we dive into the wonderful world of Limewire!  Remember the days when you'd riddle your parents computer with viruses after spending three days downloading the latest banger?  So do we.  In a world where everything is streaming and available immediately, few can relate to the patience required to live the Limewire life.

Remember all the chemicals involved in puberty?  We're not talking biology, we're talking sprays, wipes, gels, etc. From Axe Body Spray to Dippity Do, it was a wild time trying to turn your awkward face/body into a decent situation for everyone else to be around.  Also discussed, the immense pressure of back-to-school shopping trying to predict what was going to be cool for the entire coming year.  Josh also explains the plight of being a lefty in the realm of lead pencils and binders.

In this episode of Memory Lame the dudes discuss the glory days of cruising through the aisles of your local video rental outlet. Was there any feeling greater than when your parents loaded you up in the mini-van and you pulled up in front of the beautiful blue and yellow glow of the Blockbuster sign?  No. There wasn't.  Anything was possible on Blockbuster days.  Time stood still and dreams were made or shattered depending on whether or not what you were looking for was available, or maybe in the recently returned bin. Scott also reminisces about kids he knew in elementary school, and we find out the most intimidating kid of all time is name Michael and wears a suit.

KAAAMEEEEHAAAAAMEEEEHAAAAAAAA!!!!  That's right, this episode is coming at you like an energy beam straight from the palms of Earth's greatest martial artist, Goku.  Dragon Ball Z may be one of the most iconic 90s cartoons of all time, so you know we had to get at it.  While some may consider it the layman's anime, Memory Lame casts no judgement upon those who beheld the glory of the Spirit Bomb or the episodes dedicated to watching people charge up like Super Mario about to do a sick jump.

WuzzAAAAAAAAP Lame-os!?  We're back for another episode of Memory Lame with a real hitter, it's all about that MSN Messenger. It was a wild and wooly world back in the MSN days, and in many ways it acted as a primer for today when we're all be half engaged in bland conversations all the time through our phones.  Few truly remember the dial-up days, but we're here to make sure we never forget what faced the struggle faced by those hoping the landline didn't ring while they were waiting for their crush to come online and say "wat up" so they could sauce back a crisp "n2m jc u?" in return.  Those were the DAYS!
