Men Behind The Mitts

NHL hub cities Big J and silky get things started with laying out all the new NHL updates. Edmonton and Toronto are locked in as our two host cities. It’s confirmed that the cup will be hoisted in Canada! 

The boys hop right in to breaking down their favorite match ups out of the west. Edmonton and Chicago is shaping up to be quite match up. Silky dishes the deets on McDavid being in beast mode in Edmonton. Kane, Toews, and Crawford are looking to stand tall against a fast and hungry oilers offense. The boys are also jacked for the Coyotes Predators bout! 

Taylor Hall and Clayton  Keller are squaring off Duchene and Josi in the qualifying round! 

Big J brings it back to the east and they jump in to the Toronto Columbus series. Silky is fired up to see Mathews and Marner put points up but Theyre going to have to get past the jackets forecheck first. Shaping up to be a lamp lighter series. 

You know Silky and Big J didn’t forget about the boys in RED. They go in-depth about the Russian five being locked in and ready to bring the cup home! Big J breaks down some good notes about the caps and current stats! He also catches us up with who the caps brought up for practice and potentially the play off run. 

The boys switch gears and dive right into Silkys cereal  addiction. Cheerios? Lucky Charms? Psssh he’s got them all. Big J tells us how it’s impossible to pick his TOP 3 favorite foods! Pizza? Tacos? And not to forget Silkys Favorite....chocolate pudding. So Big J has been watching New girl on Netflix and Silky is concerned it’s a chick flick. The Sopranos? Yeah the boys are bringing the TV show back around. Uncle Tony approves. 

Big J and Silky bring up a serious matter that’s currently trending and being exposed. Human and child sex tracking. They tread lightly on Wayfair being exposed for human trafficking. 

EPISODE 7 NHL UPDATES 

The boys start hot out of the gate with the NHL Draft Lottery! Big J was not expecting that number one pick. Silky is getting his passport ready for the Hub cities that have been selected for playoffs. Big J confirms that Datsyuk is safe and sound.... nice knowing ya father superior. Amazon buys naming rights to Seattle’s NHL area “Climate pledge arena” and Big J educates us on a new water system they plan on using. 

We go over Covid Phase 2 and what it means in the NHL. TJ Oshie and Caps get brought up and they Fan Boy a little bit. We Teamed up with the Silky Mitts crew to scout DC and ended up grubbin down at Yard House in NW. Shout out to Candace @xoxocandilicious at Yard house for gifting us our first Props for the studio!! Silky drops the deets on the new summer collection. 
We cruise through new trick shot videos going around the interweb. The boys go in on what kind of bread they like. Big J has the tattoo itch and tattoosbyloaf might have the cure. A debate comes up about Crayons and things get weird. Silky brings up the best way to sleep and you know they talk the big spoon little spoon action. 

The boys go deep in episode 5!!! 

Auston Matthews pops dirty for Covid 19?!? Things don’t look good for the Tampa bay organization either as rumors of Covid sweeps the staff into the medical room just as on ice practice starts. Host Big J brings up Datsuyk hiding in mother Russia!! He’s in a locked down  monastery taking refuge with Father superior as Covid Conspiracies drive them wild! 

The boys Talk about how they landed on their numbers that they rock on theirs sweaters! Chris Simon and TJ Oshie might have some competition in the rafters 👀👀

BIG J and Silky finally hit the links and they did more than bomb the fairway! Big J took on the sandbox and beach while Silky searched the woods for any ball he could find! 

Don’t think the boys forgot about Washington’s Stanley cup anniversary cause they didn’t!! They recap the nights the spent in DC watching on the street and at bar! Great 8 finally got his!! Big J switches gears up a bit and dives into taking time to himself and exploring meditation. The boys open up and get a Little personal...Silky and J break down what works for them when they finally get a chance to unwind and take a few minutes to look around with out blinders on.
