Jmike has finally read the classic Alan Moore tale that acted as the finale to the original Superman series, prior to the 1980s relaunch. He sits down with Case to talk about it reflect on how it both deconstructs the character while also refuting the trend in superhero deconstruction from the era.

Case finally got Jmike to read Superman: Red Son, the book that explores “What if Superman had landed in the Soviet Union instead of the United States.” Now the two of them are going revel in a wonderfully more nuanced take on a very simple pitch.
