Actor and musician Mitchel Musso (@mitchelmusso) joins Justin on the podcast this week with his NEW MUSIC after taking some time away from the big screen. The Hannah Montana star opens up candidly about how he purposely “chose himself first” in order to bring the best version of himself to everyone in his life. It’s no secret that all of us have thought about how loving ourselves will in turn nurture the other areas of our life, well, we’re in luck on this episode because Mitchel is a walking example of how it really does work!
Mitchel has returned to the spotlight with new original music inspired by his experiences with love, heartbreak, emotional ups and downs, and life accomplishments. Most recently, he released the first single “Drank” off his upcoming Mixtape “Ghost”.
Mitchel starred in three successful Disney projects, “Hannah Montana,” “Pair of Kings,” and “Phineas and Ferb,” as well as Columbia Pictures' “Monster House.” Mitchel began his music career at a young age, releasing his first album through Walt Disney Records, but didn’t find his true passion and sound until he stripped the "work" away from the music, and began making music stemming from his life's inspirations.

Austin Ekeler, star running back for the LA Chargers, joins Justin on this episode to get into everything his life has taught him on AND off the football field - especially as it pertains to mindset, wellness and competing with yourself!
A hard-worker both on and off the field, playing at the Division-II college level, the NFL was far from a guarantee for Austin. Since going un-drafted in 2017, his determination and mindset to never be outworked has helped establish himself as one of the top running backs in the league, tying for first overall in touchdowns last season. Fitness is also a large part of who Austin is, with the gym being a constant that keeps him pushing forward and striving to better himself. Nicknamed “pound-for-pound” by his teammates for being the strongest player on the squad regardless of size, his old-school approach to training wows followers on social media.
Connecting with his community has always been a passion of Austin’s. In March 2020 he launched his Twitch channel to engage with fans while most were staying in and quickly became the biggest streamer in the NFL. Recognizing his popularity among the fantasy football community, Austin utilized his platform on Twitch to host leagues and grow his support beyond the Chargers fanbase. Additionally through the Austin Ekeler Foundation, he has begun paying his love of fitness forward, helping build a new weight room at Santa Barbara High School last summer and plans to do the same for other communities around the country.
