Joining us today to share his story, we have the Founder of The Man That Can Project, Lachlan Stuart.
When Lachlan retired from semi-professional rugby, he found himself dealing with lost identity issues. Without rugby, he didn’t know who he was anymore, because of this, he fell into a depression. His symptoms included heavy drinking using drugs. In time, Lachlan soon realized that he had the skills to help other men realize their true worth, and was able to overcome his addictions and become bold enough to chase his worth.
Join Lance and Lachlan in this amazing episode as they compare how they both felt after leaving their sports careers.

Tom comes from a high level of rugby and now is a father, husband, and business owner. SO much value from this guy. I am excited to watch him launch his next business.

* Changing the narrative around mental illness; brain illness vs mental illness; people fear what they can't see and understand i.e. they can engage/empathize around a broken leg but struggle with the mind; make reference to the brain and people can relate better
* Reframing "breakdowns" as breakthrough's; remove the stigma
* It is extremely productive/beneficial to take the time to "reboot"; sit in the uncomfortable space and consciously identify our subconscious patterns of behavior or beliefs that may have served us well early in life / but are now self-sabotaging and require re-wiring
* How important nonjudgemental support networks are for brain illness and recovery
* How to move forward post a "breakdown" / "break-through"
