  • Miscarriages: What's A Man To Do?

Approximately 10%–15% of clinically identified pregnancies end in recognized MISCARRIAGE, a pregnancy loss before completion of 20 weeks' gestation.  Clearly for many women this is a tragic loss, although, the men in their lives are typically completely unprepared for this dose of reality when it happens too.  We speak with two husbands to candidly express, not only their emotions about the loss, but also their experience supporting their wives afterwards.  What toll does it take on their relationship/marriage?  Do they become closer or more distant?  Do their wives feel like they let them down? How much fear is involved in attempting another pregnancy?  BLACK WOMEN experience more miscarriages in weeks 10-20 than their white counterparts, why?  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK

  • Biracial Children: Are They Black Or White?

Most people are shocked to discover the infamous ONE-DROP RULE that asserted any person with even one ancestor of sub-Saharan African ancestry ("one drop" of black blood) is considered BLACK didn't actually go into effect until the 20th Century in America. PRESIDENT THOMAS JEFFERSON fathered at least six children who were enslaved due to their MIX RACE.  Two of them died before adulthood, two were allowed to escape, and two remained ENSLAVED until he freed them in his will.  Ironically, all of their descendants identified as WHITE. Fortunately BIRACIAL children are no longer faced with being enslaved or not in this country, but what is their experience growing up? How do they identify if they are BLACK or WHITE?  Do they decide for themselves or does society?  Can they embrace both?  If they identify as BLACK, can they be trusted?  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK

  • Can Polygamy Help The Black Community?

This show features special guests the "Ossie & Ruby Dee of  Counseling " That Clay Couple," HASAN CLAY & HASAN-NAAILA CLAY, from Global Leadership Integrated Counseling to discuss POLYGAMY in modern times to discuss if it could serve as a possible solution for some of the issues AFRICAN-AMERICANS face in America.  While polygamy is illegal in the US, there are people who still practice this form of marriage, and there are some in the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community who suggest it can help with nation building specifically for BLACK AMERICA. Do we truly understand the practice of POLYGAMY? Does a polygamist man have to provide for all of his wives? Is polygamy MISOGYNISTIC by nature or can women have MULTIPLE HUSBANDS?  Can people successfully entering into a polygamous marriage to bring all the finances together?  What are the pitfalls of polygamy? • Can Friends Have Sex & Remain Friends?

Some people suggest that men and women cannot be friends due to their natural desire to want INTIMACY. Although there are plenty of PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS between men and women that do not include intimacy, but the question is what happens if they add SEX?  Will the friendship remain intact? What happens if one of them catches feelings?  What if the SEX is great/terrible?  If they successfully have sex without any attachments, will their friendship be a threat to any of their future relationships?  Special guest, YONCI YOURHOSTESS drops by to #GIVEUSHER3CENTS as well. MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. • Toxic Masculinity: Real or BS?

In psychology, Terry Kupers, defines TOXIC MASCULINITY as "the constellation of socially regressive male traits that serve to foster domination, the DEVALUATION OF WOMEN, HOMOPHOBIA and wanton violence".  Some suggest as a society we must rid ourselves of TOXIC MASCULINITY as it will help alleviate the RAPE CULTURE that is said to exist among men.  However, within the AFRICAN-AMERICAN community some are concerned that there is an agenda behind the term TOXIC MASCULINITY in order to ensure BLACK MEN in particular are devoid of masculinity.  With the recent situations with BILL COSBY, R KELLY, & MICHAEL JACKSON have BLACK MEN become the face of TOXIC MASCULINITY?  Are some BLACKS skirting the issue to avoid discussing inappropriate behavior that needs to discontinue in the BLACK COMMUNITY?  Could it be both? MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.  ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK

  • Cheating: Would You Rather Know Or Not Know?

People often say things done in the dark come to light, but in reality that is not always true when it comes to INFIDELITY in relationships.  Women often say their intuition will ensure they will know, but that doesn't always mean they will discover it.  Men historically have been known to have a double standard, meaning some will cheat on their girlfriends or wives and expect them to remain through their infidelity, but absolutely will not accept it if she cheats.  The bigger question is if your spouse or significant other is successfully CHEATING would you rather find our or not find out?  What if it was a ONE NIGHT STAND?  What if they are no longer cheating with that person, would you still want to know?  Does it make a difference if you are MARRIED OR NOT?  What if there are children involved?  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.  ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK

  • Should Blacks Build A Nation Within A Nation?

Some suggest the only way oppression of AFRICAN-AMERICANS will stop is for BLACKS to separate and build a nation of their own within the U.S. Others Blacks feel they are proud to be an American and suggest our history & progress are tied to that of the country as a whole. Special guests BABA AMIN IMAMU OJUOK, founder Uhuru Academy, and DUANE DRAUGHON, owner VizX Design Studio drop by to openly discuss what a nation inside a nation would look like and the practicality of achieving it, especially as AFRICAN-AMERICANS themselves seem divided over the approach.  Call-in and #GIVEUSYOUR3CENTS!!! • Black Envy: Real Or Perceived?

Comedian KAT WILLIAMS once joked about wanting more haters in his life, because the more you had meant the better you were doing in life.  In reality having others who are envious of you can have some real life consequences whether at work, in business, or within a family/friend dynamic. Many Blacks feel HIDDEN ENVY among BLACKS is often harder to overcome than RACISM or SEXISM within a workplace, business, or life in general.  Is BLACK ENVY an additional burden successful BLACKS must navigate in life?  In superior/subordinate workplace relationships are Blacks more or less supportive of one another?  Are other races and cultures actually more helpful when it comes to business, or is BLACK ENVY an unfair perception we incorrectly believe about one another? MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask.  ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK
