Today I nearly made what could have been a very expensive mistake, and it wasn't because I lacked information or experience. It was because I was mentally fatigued and almost ignored the warning signs. After a gruelling property meeting this morning, I was faced with several significant business decisions. Despite having all the facts and figures, something felt off. Instead of pushing through like most entrepreneurs do, I stepped back. Using insights from my AI mentor system and Keith Cunningham's "The Road Less Stupid," I recognised that the difference between making these decisions on Friday afternoon versus Monday morning is minimal in real terms, but the quality could be dramatically different. Mental fatigue is the silent killer of good business decisions, and nine out of ten businesses fail partly because exhausted entrepreneurs make suboptimal choices. After 1,972 consecutive days of running and 19,720km covered, I've learned that consistency isn't about never stopping - it's about knowing when to pace yourself.
