The majority of people are not aware of the direct connection between mental health and oral health. The health of your teeth and gums can tell you a lot about the health of your brain, heart, and lungs. The Queen Of Dental Hygiene, Barbara Tritz joins me today to talk about this important connection.
Barbara K. Tritz RDH, BS, MSB, HIAOMT is a practicing biological dental hygienist in the office of Green City Dental in Edmonds, Washington.
She is also the owner of Washington Oral Wellness in Kirkland, WA where she practices orofacial myofunctional therapy. She completed her accreditation in Biological Dental Hygiene through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and is laser certified through the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Barbara's passion for all things dental spilled over to creating a blog and then a website: Queen of Dental Hygiene.net.
Barbara loves to share her knowledge and help others find their total body health. She lectures everywhere from local school health classes to professional continuing education courses. In 2019 Barbara received the HuFriedy-ADHA Master Clinician Award at the annual ADHA Conference in Louisville, KY.
She loves the warm weather and has found her happy place stand-up paddle boarding on any glorious day in the great Pacific Northwest.
