Dr. Lindsay Jernigan is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in South Burlington, Vermont. She also has training in intuitive awareness and healing, which allows for deep, rapid change towards a state of natural health and well-being. In this episode, I chat with Dr. Lindsay about the rise in mental health challenges due to the pandemic and what we can do if we don’t have access to a therapist right now. We also talked about anxiety, depression, how to sit with discomfort or negative emotion and not numb it out, and how to build resilience whether we have access to a therapist right now or not.
“Strength and resilience mean being able to feel fully and expand and deepen our sense of ourselves as a result of life’s struggles. And so resilience means being able to feel it all and keep growing and keep going.” - Dr. Lindsay Jernigan
