This is a meditation for today. With all that is going on in the world, it is easy to lose focus, to feel overwhelmed, and feel enveloped by chaos.
In this meditation we will delve beneath the choppy surface of the ocean of life and connect with stillness and calm.
We will notice where our attention is being pulled, practice mindful compassionate awareness, and make an intentional shift.
Attention is something to be paid, and yet there are so many forces competing for our attention and making a grab at this valuable resource which is our time.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day. How can we unlock our personal power to make the necessary shifts for this most valuable resource?
In this excerpt from the LIVE Circle of Insight recorded on June 10th, 2020, you will experience a meditation for exactly this.
You'll hear a brief introduction as well as a guided meditation practice. For maximum benefit, listen in a quiet space where you can set aside time to focus on this and this alone.

With all that's going in on the world, I've realized that its time to home in on the transformational tools that matter most.
With the array of questions that I've been receiving lately about mental health, mindfulness, and how to get through this particularly challenging time that we're in, this episode and all of my content moving forward is going to be geared toward supporting you in shifting from chaos to calm and tapping into the tools that you need most.
00:00-11:00 - I'll share a tip with you about how to make the shift from chaos to calm, and I'll also let you in a lil' story about how I discovered a huge wellness accountability hack in my own life and why I'm still using it today.
11:00 onward: My guest this week is on a mission to create the lives that they want to lead.In this episode, you'll hear her story of the experience that turned her life upside down and ultimately led her to living more deliberately. There is so much happening in the world right now. In today's episode I touch briefly upon some of the current events, and then we shift into an episode that was originally recorded in early May.
How can we move forward together, and how can we build bridges of peace?
Today's interview is a respite from the noise, and an opportunity to reflect and connect more deeply with what is timeless. Today's episode is about the eternal soul.
My guest is Rabbi Elie Kaplan Spitz, author of "Does the Soul Survive: A Jewish Journey to Belief in Afterlife, Past Lives & Living with Purpose," as well as "Healing from Despair: Choosing Wholeness in a Broken World," and "Increasing Wholeness: Jewish Wisdom & Guided Meditations to Strengthen & Calm Body, Heart, Mind & Spirit."
He served as a member of the Rabbinical Assembly Committee of Law and Standards (1994-2004; 2008-2016) and as a Global Justice Fellow for the American Jewish World Service (2016-2017). A graduate of The Jewish Theological Seminary and Boston University School of Law, Rabbi Spitz is the author of three books and many articles dealing with spirituality and Jewish law. He has taught the philosophy of Jewish law at the American Jewish University and taught at the Wilkinson College, Religious Studies Department at Chapman University. (from www.Cbi18.org)

What do headstands, distilled water, and being barefoot have in common?
These bio hacks are research based tools for wellness transformation, and it is a joy to host my big brother - an incredibly well versed author and speaker - who shares all of this, and so much more on this new episode.
Benjamin and I live on opposite sides of the globe - and in many ways we couldn't be more opposite.
In spite of the fact that our journeys have taken us in seemingly different directions, we both discovered strikingly similar 'cures' or 'remedies' - proactive tools to bring more wellness into our lives - over the course of our journeys.
You'll hear from Benjamin about several of the bio-hacks in his new book, 'The Unchained Life Manual,' and you'll also hear a bit about his journey and the challenges that sent him searching for these methods.
Whether its mental, physical, or spiritual wellbeing that you seek - this episode is packed with helpful tools and tips for you!

Yonason Goldson shares that the biggest mistake any leader can make is believing that you have to choose between being ethical and being successful. He believes that ethical leadership can synthesize purpose and profit, human values and market value, and a team that works both for you and with you.
From his hitchhiking adventures around the world, to his exploration of ancient spirituality, today's guest has embarked on a journey of seeking truth and sharing it in meaningful ways to benefit people, create community, and unite people around the values that they care about so deeply.

Today on the show I’m speaking to Dave Mason.
He's a social entrepreneur, lawyer, ordained rabbi - truly a curious soul, and he's written a novel called 'The Size of Your Dreams.'
His book is in the personal growth genre - but its a novel that teaches through a story. This story is about unlocking the potential within its characters, modeling how this same process can happen for literally anyone.
It asks the question: “What if you could transform you life, health, self image in just 5 min per day?”
You can learn how to do all of this while being engrossed in a story.
Dave shares what happened behind the scenes, the struggles he went through which inspired the stories he shares and the lessons he imparts.

In this episode, special guest Jim Farley speaks with host Azriela about the various initiatives of the Leichtag Foundation, a private foundation located in Northern San Diego, California. He shares the ways in which the foundation is working to create self sufficiency, alleviate human hardship, and stimulate social entrepreneurship both in the local community, and in Jerusalem.
The model of philanthropy that Mr. Farley speaks about is inclusive - it reaches across generational and cultural divides to create robust community around meaningful ideas and traditions. It is also not without conflict - one of the recent foundation's initiatives to assist the needy has been met with heated controversy. Yet, the foundation is built to honor the legacy of its name sake - Lee and Toni Leichtag - and its projects reflect a commitment to their values, and the values of kindness and justice. Toward the end of this segment, you'll also hear about the unique connection between the host and today's guest. (10:00-53:00)
(53:00) Host Azriela shares some of the recent initiatives of kindness that have been shared in the Within Us Community on Facebook, including: bag and purse designer Tracey Lipman who is now producing face masks to fill in on a shortage, one woman's efforts to fundraise for and import masks for healthcare workers in Israel - for more information or to donate, email Miriam Lottner: [email protected], and several other stories.
