  • The Unseen Ripple Effect of a Careless Breakup

We might think that the decisions we make in our own affairs don’t have that much effect on other people’s lives but that’s not true at all.

The results of our actions influence the lives of a lot of people around us and could actually have a big impact. That’s why I think we can’t think too easily about what we do and how we act and react.

  • Burnout isn’t your fault, it’s just a sign you’re heading the wrong direction

Experiencing (or having experienced) any form of burnout is very hard to deal with. Maybe not only the fact you have to go through it but maybe just as much having to deal with the opinions from others around this matter. In my opinion, being burnt out is not directly your fault but a gathering of different aspects that drift you off from your own human nature.

  • When you’re drained by your life, nothing feels easy

When your life doesn’t fit you, even the smallest setbacks become immense obstacles. But when you love your life and love what you do, you bounce back way easier.

  • Everyone thinks they know what’s best for you

There’s nothing worse than always being told what to do and what to think by others. Not everybody is trying to do the same things and even trying to help people prevent mistakes is basically taking away an important lesson from them and not helping them at all.

  • Motivation can't be forced for something you don’t want to do

If there’s no motivation to do something and you have to fight yourself to do it, there’s something misaligned because if you do something that you really want to do, there’s never a lack of motivation.

  • It’s impossible to quit without something to replace it

Sometimes we think that we want (or need) to quit something, and we try to make that happen but somehow it doesn’t work and we think we’re not strong enough. But the truth is you’re never strong enough if you don't have a strong enough reason. Because it’s impossible to actually quit something, we can only replace something with something else.

  • When it’s out of your hands, just make other plans

Sometimes things happen that just sucks, and all honesty complaining about it won’t fix it. That's why I think choosing where you put your energy and learning to let go when you can’t change something is the only way to go.

  • If something doesn’t fit, it’s fine to quit

There’s no good reason to pull yourself through something you don’t want to do and that doesn’t align with you. That’s why it’s actually not bad at all to quit something. When there’s something that aligns with your nature, there’s no need to fight with yourself to get up and do something.

  • Understanding my own and other people's emotions and feelings

Emotional intelligence not only helps me to understand the root cause behind my own feelings and emotions but also behind the people around me. Understanding and being aware of these makes it easier for me to know how to act and how not to act and to make the right decisions for myself and towards the people around me.

  • Building trust is hard, losing trust is easy

It takes a lot of time and effort to build trust with someone but all that work could be gone in a matter of moments if you make one mistake. I believe everything starts with trust and being trustworthy and if you know how to build and maintain it, you will always benefit from it.
