Mental Skill : Positive Self Talk
Practicing positive self talk can be the difference in losing and winning a game. Our subconscious minds listen and act on every word we think and or say. Allow this to bring new meaning to the phrase, "watch what you say." Watch what you say, its imperative that you stay positive! Use positive self talk in practice, competition, and throughout your life.
Mental Skill : Breath-work
Practicing breath-work allows you to get present. There is a good reason the word "work" is in the word breath-work -- it is work! so let's put the work in and do some box breathing together.
This meditation is the 1st of many for mental health awareness in 2022! We're working with I'm Changing the Narrative to help young athletes realize their worth.
