MERCER-The Awkwardly Honest Fishing Podcast

Bassmaster Elite Series Pro Chad Pipkens talks about his role in inventing the Flogger, Mega You Tuber Josh Jorgensen from BlackTipH gives us the details on catching the new world record tarpon and the Editor of Bassmaster Magazine James Hall fills us in on the 2021 Bassmaster Best Bass Lakes.

Pete Maina is an author, professional muskellunge angler, professional photographer, TV show host, professional speaker and former magazine owner, but even with all those incredible accomplishments, he still finds time to join us on this week's MERCER Podcast.

Jeff Gustafson, Gussy or the Great Canadian Snow Leopard. Call him what you want, he is one of only 2 Canadians to ever become a Bassmaster Elite Series Champion. This week he joins the show from the comfort of his Marabou built Canadian Mansion in Kenora, Ontario.

Bassmaster Classic Champ-Champ Hank Cherry makes time for one of his first full interviews since winning his 2nd consecutive Bassmaster Classic. This raw and revealing interview gives a great look into the true champion and human Hank is both on and off the water.

Bassmaster Classic Champion, FLW Forest Wood Cup Champion and Hall of Famer, Davy Hite and 2 time NHL Stanley Cup winner Bryan Bickell together join Dave on this week's Mercer Podcast.

Tournament Champion, social media superstar & generational angling icon Scott Martin, breaks away from salt water seclusion to join Dave on this week’s MERCER podcast.

This week MERCER goes one-on-one with the loud one.  Bassmaster Classic Champion Mike Iaconelli catches up with Dave and opens up about everything IKE. Plus some bonus behind-the-scenes stories for this past week’s Bassmaster Elite Series event on Lake Guntersville.

This week MERCER talks to 2 Bassmaster OG’s.  First off it’s first ballot Bass Fishing Hall of Fame inductee & recently retired Bassmaster Tournament Director, Trip Weldon. As if that’s not enough, our final guest belongs on the Mt Rushmore of Bass Fishing. From the Bassmasters -  the one and only, Mr Bob Cobb!

Mercer talks to Rob Terkla from Lunkers TV & the Googan Squad about his first 3 months competing in pro tournaments & Googan Squad world domination. Next up the MC calls 4-time Emmy award winner, podcaster, Hollywood reporter & hardcore angler Chris Van Vliet to talk Floyd Mayweather vs both Logan Paul and Jake Paul. But don’t worry it’s still a fishing podcast and to prove that we ask the only Australian to ever win a  Bassmaster Elite Series tournament Carl Jocumsen to join us & talk about the most offensive swear word in North America.

Kinda like a fishing podcast minus a bit of slime and plus a lot of stupidity. This week, Mercer calls Bassmaster AOY leader Seth Feider, both Cory & Chris Johnston & finally a great Canadian Icon, Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys!!
