In Psalm 120, we are invited by God to turn away from the seemingly aimless wandering through this life and turn toward God. He is the One who rescues us from our wandering and gives us direction and purpose in this life. Apart from our Loving Creator, we will continue to our futile search for fulfillment that can only be found in Him.

In this life, there ARE easy ANSWERS...however, a person can know the ANSWER without knowing the SOLUTION. SOLUTIONS help us find our way to the ANSWER to the next problem. SOLUTIONS are the processes used to find the ANSWER. 

Psalms 120-134 are the songs the Israelites sang as they made their pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the special festivals 3 times per year. They provide us with a great perspective on the processes (solutions) of our growth & faith, what it takes to continue to grow, and what we may experience as we draw closer to Christ, merging into His image, and living out His purpose in us and through us.

Producing the harvest that will feed the world with the LOVE of Christ...

"An angel of the Lord appeared to them saying, 'Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great JOY for all the people.' ...Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth PEACE to those on whom his favor rests.'”

In Jesus' birth announcement, the angels proclaimed that PEACE had arrived on earth. In John 14, approaching the fulfillment of His vision, mission, and purpose, Jesus offers His PEACE to the disciples and to all who would later choose to follow Him. He is the ultimate source of LOVE, and LOVE changes everything! His LOVE opens us to true JOY. And His JOY opens us to His PEACE...

What if it is like a "progressive package" deal where we must fully open and accept the first one before we are able to open and experience the next one...then the next one...& the next one...?
