Today we have the privilege of hearing Dr. Steve Meyer, orthopedic surgeon and founder of STEMM (Siouxland Tanzania Education Medical Missions), share the story of the miracle kids of Tanzania...an amazing story of God's providence, mercy, grace, love, and what can happen when God's people listen to His call to come together to support and care for "the least of these..."

The psalmist shows us how to live life "in between"...how to watch & wait with hopeful expectation, knowing that our God is always doing his redeeming work in us, around us, and through us!

Psalm 122 is the song of a person who has decided to go to church & worship...it is an excellent example of what happens when people worship.

The 3rd Psalm of our "Songs of Ascent", Psalm 122, confronts some of our misunderstandings and our false notions about church and worship and challenges us to find the joy in honoring and giving credit to our Creator for who He is and all He is up to in us, around us, and through us!

The 2nd Psalm of our "Songs of Ascent" asks us the question, "Where do we turn when we are in need of help?" We are reminded that God is our rescuer...our Guide...our Protector...our Provider.
