Trigger Warning: Please note that this episode contains a brief discussion of assault in relation to the church and military. While nothing is discussed in depth, it is brought up and listeners should be aware.
Today's conversation is one of my long-time friends, Dr. James Robertson. He is a pastor, an actor, a dad, and a professor at Tyndale University since 2014.
Dr. Robertson's research and publishing explores the Canadian context of the Christian faith emphasizing the importance of historical awareness.
While we do talk about Religion and God and Spirituality, you don’t need to be religious to relate to Jamie. And, if you get turned off by religion – I’d encourage you to stick around and really see the freshness and new approach that Jamie brings to it.
But that’s not all we talk about – we talk about cultural appropriation, being aware of our own privileges, and what it takes to change.
I also mentioned two various videos to check Jamie out in. You can check him out: here:
