The Rev. Meshach Kanyion is an African-American United Methodist pastor in Wyoming, Ohio, near Cincinnati. Last September, he was walking with a parishioner through a predominantly white neighborhood. After they reached the parishioner's house, the police showed up, answering a call about a "suspicious person." The police left without further incident, but being reported as a "suspicious person" was alarming and disturbing for Rev. Kanyion. He has since made a series of videos on race on his YouTube channel ("Meshach Kanyion").
