This week’s episode is unique because although we are  continuing to learn about each other its our first step in allowing all of you to know us. We chose silly topics and questions because we both choose joy in our lives and we believe that is the quickest way to know are we friends or are we not? Oh and p.s. If you boil your hot dogs we can MAYBE be friends… but you have to at least love chocolate or Harry Potter. We hope this episode pulls you in, makes you curious about us and makes your heart start to seek out a friendship so someday as we grow and learn together we can be in relationship with each other and build that into a community.

Our first episode! Welcome to our mess with purpose, and what better way to welcome you than to start right in the thick of it… Motherhood. It's pretty standard for everyone to have a vision of what they imagine their families to look like someday. But that’s exactly what it is, a vision. Real life means that changes happen and there are uncertainties with the process. Like when will you have babies? What is the mom glow? What happens during labor? What will I feel like after the baby is here? We navigate the areas that shocked us and the areas we felt unprepared for. We both are confronted with the confusion of figuring out how to become a mom and to do it differently with each baby. It’s a struggle to learn what each kid does and doesn’t like, what they respond to and their personalities to be able to parent them effectively.
