How do we help others heal when society might encourage us to stay in our lane? Obviously we can't go around like Jesus and miraculously heal people, but maybe we can learn from his stories of healing all the same.

How do we behave in times of injustice? What can we do? It is our duty to stand up to injustice, to stand against evil, and to stand up for our neighbor. These are paramount to creating a better world. Without them, we fall into chaos.

What is so significant about the second commandment, to “not take the name of the Lord your God in vain,” that it is the only commandment to have the consequences spelled out? What does it mean on a spiritual level to take His name in vain?

The first of the Lord's commandments is that we should have no other gods before Him. This feels like an easy one to check the box on, but there is a lot more to it than having faith in the right god. This commandment actually addresses our whole motivation in life.

In the story of Jesus and the centurion, Jesus allows himself to be interrupted. He does this all the time! And for a Jew and Gentile to interact in such a way at such a time exemplifies the power of healing. So maybe let's take a note from Jesus and allow some interruptions.
