In this message from Sunday, December 1, Pastor Jason Sharp dives into a message on faith and miracles.
As a church, we are called to launch into the deep to reach souls. Will you answer the call?
In this message from Sunday, November 24, Rev. Tommy Berridge speaks to us about trusting the Lord and lean not on your own understanding. He also urges us to be consistent in our relationship with God.
In today's gathering, we explored the profound hope and promise found in John 14, where Jesus assures us of a place prepared for us in His Father's house. This passage is a reminder that our hearts need not be troubled, for our faith in Jesus secures our future with Him. Jesus declares Himself as the way, the truth, and the life, emphasizing that no one comes to the Father except through Him. This truth is foundational to our faith, as it assures us of our eternal destination and the intimate relationship we have with God through Christ.
We also delved into the beautiful analogy of marriage, reflecting on the anticipation and joy that a bride and groom experience as they prepare for their wedding day. This mirrors the relationship between Christ and the Church, His bride. Just as a bride prepares herself for her groom, we are called to prepare ourselves for Christ's return, living in righteousness and holiness. The anticipation of His coming should fill us with joy and motivate us to live lives that honor Him.
Furthermore, we discussed the significance of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, whom Jesus promised to send. The Holy Spirit dwells within us, guiding, teaching, and empowering us to live according to God's will. This indwelling presence is a foretaste of the eternal communion we will have with God in the new heaven and new earth, where there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death.
In light of these truths, we are reminded of the urgency to live with eternity in mind. The reality of heaven and hell compels us to share the gospel, ensuring that others have the opportunity to experience the hope and salvation found in Jesus. Our lives should reflect the love and grace of God, drawing others to the truth of His Word.
Key Takeaways:
- **The Assurance of Jesus' Promise**: Jesus comforts us with the promise of a prepared place in His Father's house, urging us not to let our hearts be troubled. This assurance is rooted in our faith in Him as the way, the truth, and the life, providing us with a secure hope for eternity.
- **The Bride and the Groom**: The anticipation and joy of a bride preparing for her groom is a powerful analogy for the Church's relationship with Christ. We are called to live in righteousness, preparing ourselves for His return, just as a bride adorns herself for her wedding day.
- **The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit**: Jesus promised the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, to dwell within us, guiding and empowering us to live according to God's will. This presence is a foretaste of the eternal communion we will have with God in the new creation.
- **The Urgency of the Gospel**: The reality of heaven and hell compels us to share the gospel with urgency. Our lives should reflect God's love and grace, drawing others to the truth of His Word and the hope of salvation in Jesus.
- **Living with Eternity in Mind**: We are encouraged to live with eternity in mind, understanding that our present lives are preparation for the eternal joy and communion we will experience with God. This perspective should motivate us to live holy and righteous lives.
In our from Wednesday November 20, 2024, we explored the profound truth that we are all integral parts of the body of Christ, each with unique gifts and roles. Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 12 remind us that while we are many members, we form one body in Christ. This unity is not just a structural necessity but a spiritual mandate, as the health and function of the body depend on each member being connected and active. The gifts we possess—whether prophecy, service, teaching, exhortation, giving, leadership, or mercy—are to be used in proportion to our faith and for the edification of the body.
The essence of our unity is love. Without love, the body cannot function properly. Love is the blood that flows through the body, bringing life and healing. When we partake in communion, we symbolically affirm our connection to the body and the blood of Christ, emphasizing the importance of unity and love. The enemy seeks to sever us from this body, to isolate us and make us feel unloved and unwanted. But the truth is, we are deeply loved by God, and He has paid the ultimate price for us to be part of His body.
We must guard against the enemy's lies that aim to make us feel alone or rejected. Instead, we should embrace the body, love one another, and support each other. When one member suffers, we all suffer; when one rejoices, we all rejoice. This interconnectedness is vital for our spiritual health and growth. We are called to outdo one another in showing honor and to build each other up in love. As we do this, we reflect the love of Christ to the world and fulfill our purpose as His body.
**Key Takeaways:**
1. **Unity in Diversity:** Each member of the body of Christ has unique gifts and roles, and our diversity is essential for the body to function effectively. We must use our gifts in proportion to our faith, contributing to the edification of the whole body.
2. **The Centrality of Love:** Love is the lifeblood of the body of Christ. Without love, the body cannot grow or heal. Our actions and gifts must flow from genuine love for one another, as this is the foundation of our unity and strength.
3. **The Enemy's Deception:** The enemy seeks to isolate us from the body by making us feel unloved or unwanted. We must recognize these lies and remain connected to the body, where true love and healing are found.
4. **Interdependence and Support:** When one member of the body suffers, we all suffer. We are called to support and care for each other, recognizing that our well-being is interconnected. This mutual care is a testament to the love of Christ.
5. **Purpose and Mission:** Our gathering is not just for personal edification but to glorify God and lift up the name of Jesus. We are here to support the head, Christ, and to fulfill our mission as His body in the world.

In this message from Sunday evening, November 17, 2024, Sis Amy D'Alessandro shares a deeply personal journey of faith, healing, and transformation, emphasizing the profound truth that God is both caring and capable.
In today's message from the morning of November 17, 2024, we focused on the profound theme of obedience and the importance of controlling our appetites. We began by lifting our voices in praise, acknowledging the goodness and blessings that God continually bestows upon us. The essence of our journey with God is not just about receiving blessings but also about aligning our lives with His will and commands. From the very beginning, as seen in Genesis, God created us with appetites, but He also gave us the responsibility to control them. This control is not just about physical desires but extends to every aspect of our lives, including our thoughts, actions, and spiritual pursuits.
In this message from Rev. Earnest Alexander on the evening of Sunday, November 10, 2024, we explored the profound concept of operating in the mark that God has placed upon us. This mark signifies a divine calling and purpose, setting us apart for His work. It requires us to live a life of faith, obedience, and consecration, even when faced with challenges and uncertainties. The journey of living in the mark is not without sacrifice, as it demands that we lay aside our own plans and desires to align with God's will. This alignment is crucial for the church and individuals to fulfill their God-given destinies.
In this message from Pastor Jason Sharp on Sunday, November 10, 2024, we delved into the story of Noah, who found grace in the eyes of the Lord amidst a world filled with wickedness and corruption. Noah's story illustrates the importance of faith and obedience. Despite the world's chaos, Noah chose to follow God's instructions, building an ark that ultimately saved his family. This narrative teaches us that grace is an opportunity, a period where we can align ourselves with God's will and receive His blessings. However, grace requires action; it is not enough to believe—we must also act on our faith.
