What does it really mean to follow Jesus?

The Target We Miss

Where is the real battle?

According to Rev. Bobby Wade, it's not where many believers have been looking.

Throughout the message, he used examples and statistics to illustrate what he believes is a targeted assault on young people and emphasized that the Church must respond with hope rather than fear.

Returning repeatedly to Isaiah 61, he reminded the congregation that Jesus was anointed "to proclaim liberty to the captives" and declared that the same mission belongs to the Church today. Calvary was challenged not to become distracted by lesser concerns while missing the people God has called them to reach.

The message concluded with a clear call to action. Rev. Wade urged the church to accept its assignment, believe that God can open doors into the community, and prepare to minister healing to those who have experienced abuse, trauma, oppression, and hopelessness. Pastor Jason Sharp then reinforced the message by calling the congregation into a three-day fast based on Isaiah 58, encouraging the church to fast with the purpose of seeing captives set free and every yoke broken.

This wasn't simply a sermon about recognizing problems.

It was a commissioning service.

Calvary was reminded that revival is not only measured by what happens inside the sanctuary—it is also measured by how faithfully the Church carries freedom to those waiting outside its walls.

This Is the Last Time You See Me This Way!

Every believer reaches a moment where enough is enough.

Not because life suddenly becomes easier.

But because they finally decide they won't stay the same.

Rev. Bobby Wade preached a faith-filled message about the transforming power of God's Word and the decision every believer must make to leave behind old patterns, old thinking, and old identities.

Too often we become experts at managing symptoms instead of allowing God to change the source.

We manage fear.

Transformation begins the moment we stop identifying with who we were and begin believing who God says we are.

The enemy wants us trapped in repeating cycles.

God calls us into lasting freedom.

There comes a day when every believer must stand in faith and declare:

"This is the last time you see me this way."

Because when God changes the heart, everything else begins to change with it.

When the Soil Sabotages the Seed

Jesus never questioned the power of the seed.

He questioned the condition of the soil.

Rev. Bobby Wade challenged the church with a sobering truth: many times the enemy doesn't have to destroy the seed because he can simply influence the soil.

The Word of God is alive.

It is powerful.

It is always capable of producing fruit.

The question is whether our hearts are prepared to receive it.

Using the Parable of the Sower, Rev. Wade explained that distractions, offenses, pride, compromise, fear, and hidden influences slowly affect the condition of our hearts until the very thing God intended to produce life becomes unfruitful.

The enemy rarely arrives announcing his intentions.

Instead, he quietly introduces compromise.

Like the Trojan Horse, what appears harmless can become the very thing that opens the door to destruction.

Every season of spiritual growth begins with a decision to leave something behind.

Every advancement begins with a departure.

God is continually working the soil of our hearts so His Word can produce a harvest that lasts.

The challenge wasn't simply to hear God's Word.

It was to become good ground.

Because healthy soil always produces healthy fruit.

What if your greatest victory isn't avoiding the storm...

What if it's keeping your spirit right while you're in it?

Rev. Shane Burns preached a passionate message from the life of Job, reminding us that we cannot always control what happens to us—but we can control how we respond.

Job lost everything.

His wealth.

His children.

His health.

His reputation.

Yet after receiving wave after wave of devastating news, Scripture simply says:

"Then Job arose..."

He got up.

He worshiped.

He refused to allow his suffering to determine his spirit.

Every believer will face seasons they cannot explain.

Attacks.

Disappointments.

Loss.

Betrayal.

Prayers that seem unanswered.

The enemy wants those moments to produce bitterness.

God wants them to produce worship.

Rev. Burns challenged the church that one of the greatest victories a Christian can experience is keeping a right spirit through adversity.

You may not control the attack.

You may not control what others say.

You may not control the losses you've experienced.

But you can choose worship.

You can choose forgiveness.

You can choose faith.

When Job kept his spirit right, God didn't simply restore what had been lost—He blessed Job's latter end more than his beginning.

If you'll keep worshiping...

If you'll keep trusting...

If you'll keep your spirit right...

God still has restoration waiting on the other side.

The harvest is not the problem.

The laborers are.

Pastor Jason Sharp preached a passionate vision-casting message about revival, harvest, prayer, leadership, faith, and the responsibility of every believer to participate in God's end-time harvest.

For years, God has spoken promises over Calvary.

Promises of revival.

Promises of growth.

Promises of souls.

Revival happens through laborers.

Jesus said the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

The fields are ready.

We need praying men.

We need praying women.

We need Bible study teachers.

We need disciple-makers.

We need laborers.

God is still calling people to step into ministry, teach Bible studies, pray, fast, witness, disciple, and help bring in the harvest.

The future revival of the church will not be built on a handful of workers.

It will be built on an army of laborers who answer the call.

The harvest is coming.

The revival is coming.

The question is simple:

Will you answer the call?

One of the greatest dangers in the Kingdom of God is becoming too familiar with the voices God has placed in our lives.

Pastor Jason Sharp preached a powerful Father's Day message about spiritual fathers, spiritual sons, honor, discipleship, prayer, and receiving the spiritual inheritance God has prepared for us.

In Matthew 13, Jesus returned to His hometown and was rejected by those who knew Him best. They couldn't receive from Him because they were too familiar with Him.

Their familiarity became unbelief.

Their unbelief caused them to miss their miracle.

The same danger exists today.

God places spiritual voices in our lives to guide us, strengthen us, correct us, and help us grow. But if we're not careful, we can become so accustomed to hearing those voices that we stop listening.

A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.

The message contrasted Saul and Elisha.

Saul heard the voice of Samuel but rejected it.

Elisha honored Elijah, served Elijah, stayed close to Elijah, and ultimately received a double portion of Elijah's spirit.

The difference wasn't opportunity.

The difference was honor.

Pastor Jason challenged the church to cultivate spiritual hunger, value spiritual authority, pursue prayer, and remain committed to hearing the voice of God.

The mantle still falls.

The anointing is still available.

The question is whether there is a spiritual son willing to receive it.

God is still looking for people who will listen, honor, and follow His voice.
