There is nothing in this world that can satisfy a soul like the presence of God.
Pastor Jason Sharp preached a deeply convicting and powerful message about what happens when people prioritize—or neglect—the presence of God.
From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture reveals the same truth:
Humanity was created for face-to-face relationship with God.
Adam walked with Him.
Cain left Him.
Jonah ran from Him.
And people today are still making the same decision.
Some run toward His presence.
Others run from it.
But every life outside of God’s presence eventually becomes empty, wandering, restless, and unsatisfied.
“There is nothing in this world that will make you complete apart from God.”
This message was a call to reprioritize life around what matters most:
Not success.
Not entertainment.
Not possessions.
Not status.
His presence.
Because the greatest punishment imaginable is separation from God forever…
And the greatest joy imaginable is being with Him forever.
“In His presence is fullness of joy.”
The challenge of the night was simple:
Will you prioritize His presence?
Sermon #1568 – God’s Love
God’s love is deeper than human understanding.
On Mother’s Day, Bishop Paul Sharp taught on one of the greatest realities in Scripture:
God is love.
Through the example of a mother’s love, we were reminded of the compassion, care, patience, mercy, and forgiveness of God.
A mother sacrifices.
A mother comforts.
A mother protects.
And yet—even that kind of love falls short of the love God has for His people.
“God’s love supersedes man’s love.”
While hanging on the cross, Jesus prayed:
“Father, forgive them…”
Even while suffering.
Even while rejected.
Even while mocked.
That is the love of God.
This message reminded us:
• God has not forgotten you
• God still gives another chance
• God’s mercy still reaches for people
• God’s love still transforms lives
The love of God is not weak.
It is patient.
It is enduring.
It is merciful.
It is powerful.
And when the Spirit of God fills a life, that love begins to flow through us too.
“Love never fails.”
Being connected to the body is not enough.
You can be connected…
and still out of alignment.
Rev. Joe Hadaway preached a powerful message on spiritual alignment and how God’s fire only falls where things are set in order.
Before Elijah prayed for fire to fall from heaven, he repaired the altar.
Why?
Because before God moves publicly, something must be aligned privately.
Spiritual alignment is more than emotions, moments, or appearances.
It’s when:
• Your heart aligns with God
• Your life aligns with His Word
• Your relationships align with His people
• Your priorities align with His kingdom
• Your faith aligns with His promises
Alignment is both vertical and horizontal.
You cannot claim relationship with God while mistreating people He calls His own.
You cannot build the kingdom while staying disconnected from the body.
And partial alignment never produces full fire.
Elijah rebuilt the altar.
Prepared the sacrifice.
Poured out what was valuable.
Then prayed boldly.
And the fire fell.
When your life aligns with God’s will, your prayers stop sounding fearful and begin sounding confident.
Alignment matters because souls matter.
There are hurting people crying out for answers—and God wants to use aligned believers to reach them.
Doubt doesn’t always feel loud.
Sometimes… it sounds logical.
“Did God really say…?”
That’s how it started in the garden.
And it’s still how the enemy works today.
Rev. Tommy Berridge preached a powerful message on how doubt quietly opposes the promises of God.
Anything that contradicts what God has spoken—
that’s doubt.
And if we entertain it long enough…
It will rob us of what God already promised.
“If you ask in faith… God WILL give it.”
Not maybe.
Not someday.
He WILL.
But doubt creates instability.
It makes us restless.
It makes us hesitate.
It keeps us stuck.
But faith does something different:
Faith moves.
Faith speaks.
Faith acts.
Like the four lepers who said:
“Why sit here until we die?”
They didn’t have a perfect plan—
but they took a step.
And when they moved…
God moved.
The enemy fled.
Provision showed up.
The promise became reality.
Your dream is not dead.
God’s delay is not God’s denial.
It’s time to stop entertaining doubt—
and start walking in dominion.
There’s nothing wrong with the power of God.
The problem is alignment.
Rev. Tony D’Alessandro preached a powerful message on authority, alignment, and the flow of God’s Spirit.
God has already given:
Calling
Gifting
Anointing
But those things only flow when we are aligned.
Aligned with:
The Spirit
The Word
Authority
When we get out of alignment, everything feels dry:
We stop hearing God
We feel disconnected
We lose direction
But when we step back into alignment…
Everything changes.
The flow returns.
Clarity returns.
Power returns.
“A man can receive nothing… except it be given from heaven.”
That means:
What God has placed in others… is for you too.
But you have to receive it.
We are not competing—we are connected.
When we release one another:
We receive from one another.
When we honor authority:
We walk in authority.
When we stay submitted:
We stay covered.
This message wasn’t just correction—
It was an invitation:
Get back in alignment
And step into everything God has for you
Faith isn’t proven when everything is going right.
Faith is proven when everything is falling apart…
…and you keep believing anyway.
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for…”
That means: Faith lives in what you can’t see yet.
Bishop Sharp taught that real faith is:
Holding on when nothing changes. Believing when the answer hasn’t come. Trusting when the outcome doesn’t make sense
Because faith is always tied to hope.
If you lose hope… You lose faith.
But when God puts something in your heart— a promise, a vision, a future—
That’s not random.
“God puts the hope in you because He wants to bring it to pass.”
The danger isn’t struggle… The danger is unbelief.
Because unbelief can abort what God intended to do.
But faith says:
It’s not over God has done it before God will do it again
And sometimes…
God lets the bottom fall out just to show you He’s still in control.
“If you believe, you can have it.”
So don’t let go. Don’t quit. Don’t lose hope.
The best is still ahead.
Your life is moving in the direction of your thoughts.
Not your intentions. Not your desires.
Your thoughts.
“Your thinking has put you where you are.”
Bishop Sharp taught a powerful truth:
If you want to change your life, you have to change how you think.
Because:
Thoughts become words Words become actions Actions become habits Habits shape your life
The real battle isn’t out there… it’s in your mind.
What you allow in your mind will shape your future.
That’s why the Word of God matters so much— it teaches us how to think like God.
“God gave us a book… to teach us how to think.”
When you guard your mind:
You break wrong patterns You silence wrong voices You build right thinking
And right thinking produces a sound mind.
Harmony in your thinking brings power. Discord in your thinking brings weakness.
You don’t need a new life…
You need a renewed mind.
The enemy’s greatest strategy isn’t just attack—it’s confusion.
If he can make you forget who you are, he can keep you from walking in what you have.
Rev. Earnest Alexander preached a powerful message on identity:
You are not ordinary. You are a son. You are a daughter.
And that means something.
You carry authority. You carry power. You carry the Name.
“There’s power attached to you… because you belong to Him.”
The problem isn’t that God hasn’t given us power— it’s that we don’t always walk in it.
But when you understand who you are:
You speak differently You walk differently You fight differently
And the unseen begins to respond.
Devils flee at the name of Jesus. And that name is on your life.
This isn’t just about knowing God…
It’s about walking like you belong to Him.
The book of Ephesians doesn’t end with encouragement. It ends with instruction.
Bishop Paul Sharp brought the series to a powerful close with one clear message:
You are in a fight—but you are equipped to win.
We don’t wrestle against people. We wrestle against spiritual forces.
That means:
Your battle isn’t your spouse.Your battle isn’t your situation.Your battle is spiritual.
And God didn’t leave you defenseless.
Truth.Righteousness.Peace.Faith.Salvation.The Word.Prayer.
This is the armor of God.
But here’s the key:
You have to put it on.
Nobody can do it for you.
And when the battle comes—and it will—your assignment is simple:
Stand.
Don’t quit.Don’t give up.Don’t back down.
Because if you don’t quit… you win.
What if the answer you’ve been praying for… is already inside you?
Rev. John Proctor reminded us that we are not empty—we are carriers.
“We have this treasure in earthen vessels…”
God didn’t place His Spirit in perfect people. He placed it in available people.
That means:
You carry power. You carry authority. You carry the presence of God.
Too often, we focus on what we lack instead of what God has already given.
But when you realize what’s inside you… everything changes.
You stop being intimidated. You stop holding back. You stop waiting for someone else.
And you start walking in what God placed in you.
The treasure isn’t coming.
It’s already here.
