A fairly shallow level of God's blessings is experienced when one receives His words. A more robust level of God's blessing is experienced when one applies His words. But an even deeper level of God's blessings is experienced when one remembers His words and employs it during a time of need.

Children do not always listen and submit to their father's, speaking of both our biological and heavenly fathers. Why is that? ... especially when we know their instruction is intended for our own good?
