It's the last week of our Uncertainty series and, to be honest, it's exciting to see how our normal rhythms of life are beginning to come back! True, we're seeing masks all over and we are still aware of staying six feet away from others when possible, but for the first time in quite a while there is certainty.

While leaders and governments are discussing the next stages, it's up to us to figure out how to finish this quarantine well. In fact, what we're on the brink of is something similar to what Israel experienced in their history. They were released from exile and allowed to go back to Jerusalem, but along the way they began to slide back into their former sinful patterns, forgetting what God had taught them during their own "quarantine".

Campus Pastor Josh Stone is with us today, teaching from the Book of Malachi, and he's got both a warning and encouragement for all of us: don't waste our quarantine!

When was the last time you, or even someone you know, posted honestly on their social media accounts about how weak they are? Better yet, when was the last time you heard someone BOAST about what holds them back?

If you could describe the past few weeks of COVID-19 quarantine in one word, what would it be?

For many of us, the word "uncertain" is at the top of the list. With so many question marks and external circumstances changing every single day (or so it feels), it's easy to get disgruntled and wonder what God is doing. We're in uncertain times right now... and it's hard.

There was a rumor going around that Easter had been canceled…

Obviously that’s not true. Even though many church buildings may be empty today, we’re here because there is a tomb that is empty today! That is what Easter is all about. Easter is Resurrection Sunday, the day we celebrate the empty tomb of Jesus Christ, Who, after His sacrificial death on the cross for the sins of humanity on Friday, rose as He promised on Sunday! Many words come to mind regarding the empty tomb, but today we can’t help but focus on one: hope. Easter means hope – not a shallow, fragile possibility but a confident hope in the eternal, steadfast love of God and His invitation for us all to be a part of His family!

Think of the last time something disrupted your plans. It could be small, like a red light on the way to work, or it could be much, much larger (we're looking at you, Covid-19).
