Paul encourages the church in Thessalonica by giving them 3 ways to stay strong in their faith and continue to Flourish. Even while He himself is facing trails.

The Bible is very clear when describing the characteristics of spiritual leadership. Spiritual leadership has many faces; such as, a pastor, a father, a mother and really anyone who is a follower of Jesus that has influence over another.

When you become a follower of Jesus Christ, it becomes obvious to those around you. (1:8-9a) This means that from the moment you are saved you begin to build a testimony; which then becomes your spiritual resume.

Having a flourishing faith is God’s desire for all of us who have trusted His provision of salvation. The expressions of flourishing faith are evident and should be exhibited.

“Flourish” may be one of the best words, to describe a Christian who is maturing in their faith. Definition of Flourish: to be healthy and thriving; to blossom; to be at the height of influence

The local church should be the most generous entity in any local community. Its generosity should be established in and directed towards Biblical discipleship.

What happens when Generosity goes from Personal to Plural- from “Me” to “Us”? We the Church, are the “Us” in Generous.

Generosity touches every aspect of life. Our money, time, talents and relationships. Being generous is an important matter to God. Yet it is challenging to open up to others.

How much money do you need to be Rich? How much money do you need to be Generous? A life marked by Generosity is not just for “Them”, it’s for “Us”.

The 2nd Coming of Jesus is a future date on the calendar. It is pronounced in John 14:1-3 and Acts 1:6-11.
