In this passage Paul outlines the case against sinful man before a holy God (that man is without excuse) and the reasons for God’s wrath (that God is justified).

We have been given what many people call the greatest letter ever written. The apostle Paul wrote the letter to the Romans around 56 AD. In its entirety it is a Royal Invitation, an invitation to move from our guilt by way of His grace for His glory.

A 2015 Harris Poll revealed that 58% of those surveyed believe there is a place called hell; with only 4% believing it will be their eternal destination. While many Christians believe there is a hell its reality never really seems to motivate them in their witness.

Many have speculated and wondered what Heaven will be like: Will it be boring? Will we work? Will we learn? What will be the opportunities in Heaven?

The Scriptures indicate that everyone who has ever lived will be resurrected and will live for eternity.

It is interesting that Jesus ministered to sinners while the Pharisees condemned them. Lost sinners come to Jesus not because He catered to them or compromised His message, but because He cared for them and they knew He truly cared.

We can model God’s love and learn to express that love to others and those around us. Let’s notice the way this father poured out love on his prodigal son.
