As the dust settles from the turmoil you have endured over the past few weeks, many of you may have a renewed sense of hope for the future. But this is no time to put your guard down.

The pandemic rages on. The vaccine rollout faces many difficulties. The stability of your planet is at the brink of collapse. Inequality and injustice are on the rise. Fear, fatalism, and hopelessness plague your minds. Digital distraction and consumer culture drag you into short-term cycles and short-sighted solutions. And worst of all, the deafening noise from your digital echo chambers segregates you further from reality and each other.

You have the technologies and know-how to tackle these challenges. But clearly, there is a more immediate threat you must consider. This is the deterioration of your human intelligence - the emotional and social skills needed to move forward together.

Good humans of 2021. Last week, your world witnessed an unforgivable act of insurrection that will ultimately become the nail in the coffin of fascism. While we promised this last attempt by President Trump to overturn the people’s vote will fail, you may still feel this will lead to greater attacks due to the scope of the aggression. However, we assure you this was the final blow.

While President Trump was busy heating up his radical supporters, he failed to see how he was dividing the majority of his followers. This will lead to a failed last-ditch strike on democracy from a weakened radicalized far-right few.

As more of the average Trump supporters scrub their social feeds to distance themselves from the radicals, the momentum of the movement will begin to slow to a crawl. Aside from extremist groups, there will be a cool down from the American people as they realize the damage their actions have caused. Concerned about ridicule from their communities, former loyal Trumpsters will go quiet and eventually see the joy in a world without the constant voice of destruction and hate ringing in their ears.

Your country will heal. But your civil war scare will be overshadowed by a new, more sinister threat that will require all sides to work together.

There is a new war brewing in the mist. This one will be bigger and lacks a single obvious enemy to defeat. It will become known as the War on Reality. An attack on your most sacred of places. Your minds.

Good humans of 2021. Happy New Year. You are one step closer to your big exam! While 2020 is officially in the history books, your battle rages on.

Now is the time to wake up, stand up, and fight. Make things better. What I reveal today will help you understand how we got to where we are in 2051, exactly 30 years into your future.

During 2020, we explained what will happen to your civilization if you continue on your path as is. While it may seem our influence on your actions was futile, we successfully helped you dodge a potentially catastrophic election turnover. As your president has used his last weeks in the office to attempt an all-out coup, his final attempt two days from today will fail to give him and his followers what they seek. He will leave office, but not quietly. Don’t let this distract you from the next villain.

What I am about to share with you may seem completely insane, but I assure you it is not. For those of you old enough to be around in the 1990s, you may recognize this character we are about to reveal as the biggest threat to your future.

The global Brain has a name. It is ANИA. The acronym for Artificial Neural Network Alpha. She will be the very first Artificial intelligence superbrain.

ANИA was constructed after failed 90’s TV star Kevin Sorbo wrangled up a band of misguided Anti-Climate Crisis conspiracists in an effort to expose the false claims of the UN trying to start a single global government. This one-man will create the movement and machine that would alter the course of our history, your future.

While Sorbo and his army will ultimately be taken down at the end of this decade, his creation will live on and become what we know in our time as the Global Brain. Over the next nine years, we will continue to deliver important pieces to the puzzle and share our stories every ten days. Things are about to get real, and your lives will never be the same.

But the world is anything but silent. The pandemic rages on, democracy is being threatened, and truth has been hijacked by a flood of conspiracy theories and lies. 2020 ripped us out of our comfort zones and showed us what could happen when our entire civilization is attacked by a mutual enemy. It showed we can work together, but it also revealed our deep-rooted flaws.

Beneath our feet simmers a much greater threat ready to explode onto the stage. The evidence is undeniable. The alarms have been ringing for decades. Climate change will become the next, much greater, challenge we face together.

With each passing day, the unthinkable destruction of everything we know and love gets closer to becoming our dystopian reality. Over the next stage of COVID-19 fiscal interventions, governments must engage in a green recovery and significantly raise their climate ambitions in 2021.

For centuries, our minuscule sensory mechanisms have blinded us to all frequencies outside the narrow range of the electromagnetic spectrum that we see as light and colors. Our reality has lived in the very small comfort zone that we call “normal”, as opposed to the mind-boggling workings of the very small, very large, and very fast.

While we see destruction and decay in the uncertainty of chaos, the universe, in all its wonder, has a different story.

As our digital instruments get smarter and more powerful, will we ever find the truth about our existence, or will we remain the enlightened species doomed to eternal ignorance?

Merry Christmas good humans of 2020. What a year it has been! While most of our team were not around during your time, there are a few of us that remember the hardship this year brought for you. They recall that It seemed to never end. Until it did. The vaccines began to reach everyone and life began to show signs of getting back to normal.

While this year has been more than cruel, it was also a year potent seeds were planted. Some of these seeds will blossom over the next decade into the movements, companies, and ideas that will play important roles in your coming crises.

Take this time to celebrate and remember those you have lost. As you accelerate to a grim milestone of two million lives taken from the pandemic, the world and especially the United States will be more desensitized to mass death than ever. This will begin the process of more isolation and less action toward a global movement for your next, much greater challenge.

There are rough times ahead, but there are also uplifting victories to savor. Use these vital wins as your guide during these tough times. Your actions will have a ripple effect that will determine if you can fix your future, our present.

However, because this mining is the extraction of knowledge from large amounts of data, not the extraction of data itself, it may seem this is an endless resource.

But, with machine-learning and statistical models improving exponentially, even the abundant resource of data will eventually become worthless as your reality becomes the mirror of what you have told the system you wish it to be.

As the desire to train and deploy cutting-edge machine learning algorithms like neural networks pushes the need for more information to the next level, you will see synthetic data gain more and more popularity.

This will accelerate the runaway neural network effect that will ultimately wake the Global Brain, allowing a type of free-thinking from your artificial intelligence systems and destroying the need to learn what humanity is really all about.

Train your systems now. It’s in your hands to teach the emerging Global Brain who you truly want to be so she can begin to construct a more desirable version of how she will save your future.

Dear humans of 2020

As difficult as the pandemic has been, you will come to find it was your test run for the climate crisis. If COVID-19 has taught you anything, it’s that humanity can rapidly come together and cross international lines to save lives. Soon you will have to do the same for the planet. You must think global but act locally.

Your technology will be able to fix anything. Climate change, hunger, poverty, energy. But the one thing it cannot fix, it will make worse if you don’t heed our warnings now. These are social, cultural, and political issues. You must remember that technology is only a tool. It is up to you to fix your head - your human intelligence - to use these tools wisely.

Your biggest threat is not artificial intelligence, but rather who you were when you built the AI system that will ultimately emerge and control your world.

The revolution will not be about destruction and building something new. It will be about understanding the world based on art, humanity, and technology. Data is everywhere and will be used as a weapon, but it will also be used to shift into a world economy that looks at the stakeholders of the planet, not merely the investing shareholders.

If you do not create a circular economy that looks after people, planet, and purpose, in ten years, you will have a destructive global economy. This will be the first step toward your leaders turning to the Global Brain to fix what you could not.

Dear humans of 2020

It looks like the Americans did it. We warned of the dire consequences of a close election that would drag democracy down a long descent that would undermine their ability to grow as a unified nation. They voted in numbers that made it impossible to bully the United States into a dark revolution.

And it worked!. we can see it here in 2050. While the Augs are essentially not affected by your victory, we, along with the millions of the Pures seem to have a stronger bond than ever before. Our numbers have increased significantly and the enlightened army we lead is now one thousand strong.

But your journey has just begun. There will be many sacrifices along the way but change is inevitable for the survival of your civilization. What you were doing up to this point was working just fine. However, while you were using technology to solely prosper, you’ll find there is a new story. You are entering the enlightened revolution.
