How did people celebrate or observe the first Christmas? Many wondered but Mary worshipped. The birth of Jesus caught their attention but Mary gave her affection to the Saviour. Many were impressed by the event but Mary was impacted by the person of Christ. Mary treasured up and pondered in her heart because she saw that God is mighty and holy. Our response this Christmas is to believe and receive a God who mighty and holy, dwelling among us.

No matter what your impossibilities are, Christmas is a reminder that God can do the impossible for you. It’s a sign of hope to mankind that we are not left alone to deal with our challenges. The Father has sent Jesus to help us and to do the impossible for us. But we must exercise faith in preferring to receive our miracles!

God has a habit of interrupting, and the one person who had the biggest interruption in her life, the one who God used to fulfil His grand purpose for mankind though the birth of Jesus is Mary. She had found favour with God and was blessed. Likewise, we have found favour with God. How will we respond to and steward God’s favour?

God is constantly opening new doors for us to share His love to our lost world. The opportunities He gives us are not only to make a living but to save lives.

Jesus is constantly knocking on the door of our hearts because He wants us to be in relationship with Him. Will you open the door for Him?
