Wives, husbands and the church are all to submit to Christ as Christ submitted to God; living holy lives in order to be a sanctifying witness of the gospel to the people around us and to experience the love of God.

Humbly submit to God as bond slaves and gain His favor as you patiently suffer for His sake and for the sake of the lost.

We are to declare and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ, whom God has made His cornerstone and in whom we are being built into the dwelling place of God; His people living His way and telling others about him.

Because our salvation is sure, we are to pursue holiness in this world; loving one another, and growing in the gospel.

Through faith in Jesus Christ’s resurrection, we can rejoice in the living hope and assured salvation that God has given us by the power of His gospel.

God has chosen us in Christ to live as His representative people in this world by standing firm in His grace with the certain hope of peace.

We display the love of God when we show love for one another, and we imitate the goodness of Jesus Christ when we participate in the work of His gospel.

Our belief in the gospel-truth which results in our love for the brethren determines our circle of unity and guides our use of hospitality.

God never fails to exercise terrifying judgment on sin for His Name's sake, but proves Himself trustworthy to deliver those who place their complete trust in Jesus Christ.

We must confidently trust our Good Shepherd (the Lord Jesus) to provide for, care for, and protect us as He leads us to dwell with Himself forever in glory.
