A homilee for a student mission team

The Lord’s deliverer prepares his people to enter his rest by renewing the

God goes ahead of His people to display His might to all and to command reverent devotion from His people forever.

God uses the church united in the gospel of Jesus Christ to move others from the knnowledge of God to faith in Christ.

Be strong and courageous for God will keep all of His promises to His people; He will be present with them and they will have the power of His word.

God will gloriously establish His Kingdom (God’s people, in God’s place, under His rule and blessing) through Jesus Christ in fulfilling of all of His good promises. This is all our hope and peace!

Christ grows His church by building up his people, who calmly carry on His gospel mission.

The Holy Spirit of God is teaching God’s people to be content in every circumstance of life, such that we can greatly rejoice in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

We are commanded to do the hard work of thinking about Jesus and His gospel, so that we will display Jesus and His gospel in our living.
