True Christian love of the brethren will mean productivity in our work enabling stability and blessing the saints as one supports his own family and gives to the kingdom. Those of the household of faith, professing Christians, are to be characterized by skillful work and productivity rather than being lazy and needy, robbing the church of its resources that should be used to advance the gospel and provide for real needs in the body.

Israel has been repeatedly rebellious, disciplined and chastised by The Lord, and continued in unrepentant sin against The Lord. Even so, a merciful God pleads with his beloved children, explaining to them their desolate state.

Jesus utilizes a practical need for wine to show the superior purification he would provide in his blood on the cross for Israel's bankrupt condition.

Isaiah is a Christ centered book. The Lord speaks, accusing his people, weighed down by their sin and iniquity, grieving over their transgressions and desiring their repentance. How much do you value God?

Chapter 1 is an introduction and summary to the rest of the book. He appeals to his own created heavens and earth as he pleads, like a loving father, with his children Israel, bringing accusations against them.

An introduction to the book of Isaiah, a vision given to him from The Lord God and inspired to be written down, of YAHWEH in his majesty as the maker of Heaven and earth. That God has bowed himself to speak to us in this inspired word of The Lord. Do you have a spiritual vision of God and Christ? Do you live out of that vision every day?

Much of Isaiah's writings and historical narrative about him in 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles describe his message from God for the people of Judah, as well as the historical events surrounding his ministry. We can, however, identify many of his exemplary characteristics through a survey of his faithful service to God throughout his life.

The will of God is that you abstain from sexual immorality, controlling yourself by the power of the Holy Spirit in holiness and honor, not in sinful passion like the world.

We are the Lord's servants, each with different ability, and The Lord gives each of us tasks and responsibility to work and serve him joyfully. We have an opportunity to serve Jesus Christ, or we can view The Lord wrongly and be thrown into outer darkness for our selfish and prideful wickedness.

The Church, the body of Christ, has a leadership structure given in scripture that: 1. Is in the scriptures 2. Is from God 3. Has qualifications 4. Is publicly acknowledged 5. Is a blessing Deacons are in charge of logistical matters, which are necessary and important, so that the elders can devote themselves to the ministry of the word and prayer, their gifting and calling.
