Holiness and sanctification is abstaining from sexual immorality. Sexual sin affects how the world views Jesus Christ and our body. You cannot understand the darkness of the sin of sexual immorality until you understand the beauty and intimacy of God's design for the one flesh union of marriage. You never know how far sexual sin will lead you into the darkness of sin.

Although there is no good reported of Rachel but instead much sinful behavior, we can be thankful for the honesty of scripture. Rachel is significant in scripture, but stands primarily as an example of what not to be for wives and mothers; selfish, without character, and dying in bitterness. Beauty and gracefulness are no substitute for godliness. Leah was the one with a heart turned towards God with love for her husband.

The Lord has sanctified us in his salvation and cleansing us from our former sins, and continues to sanctify us and commands us to be pure and holy as we mature in Christ, for sanctification is the will of God for us.

Paul prays for the believers to abound in love so that their hearts, the center of their being, will be established, firmly planted, in holiness, without blame before The Lord Jesus at his second coming.

Whoever covers his sin will not prosper and will bring the Lord's discipline upon himself and the body, but he who confesses will obtain mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Paul has two supernatural requests with an eternal goal: 1. God and Jesus direct our way to you-clear the way 2. Lord to cause people to increase and abound in love (1 Jn 4:10) for one another and all men We are to be like Jesus in his selfless love for the undeserving.

David is in distress, and he prays to The Lord, giving us an example of how to pray in times of trial. He praises The Lord, and implores for The Lord to listen to him, let him know he hears, and answer him. Let our hearts be as David's: "I am your servant; answer my prayers so I can serve you more."

Paul preaches and delivers historic facts, the gospel, the word. The death for our sins, burial, and resurrection with subsequent Christ's appearance to over 500 witnesses testifies to the facts of our belief.

Scripture commands us to appreciate and highly esteem our leaders in love; this cultivates thankful hearts and peace in the body. Leaders are encouraged when believers are running well, and truly love the ones they shepherd in the faith.

Get a grip on the mercy of God in the gospel and live your lives in light of it; this is reasonable! Do not be worldly or haughty, but fulfill your role as a part of the body according to the grace and faith and gifting The Lord has given to you. Love, without hypocrisy, with devotion, and serve one another in The Lord.
