We have the great privilege of announcing the good news of Jesus's birth and the gospel of his grace.

Our hope must be grounded in the unchanging promises of the gospel. Our hope is found in the Advents of Jesus - his first coming to die for sin and his second come to rule and reign forever. Both hopes are grounded in promises made and kept by the living God

The enigmatic figure of Jesus of Nazareth, fully God and fully man, is the culminating truth and answer to our longings and questions.

Our own mortality and coming death must cause us to pause and consider our lives and destiny. The living with gain much from observing Jesus' life and his teaching at a friends funeral and find our hope in him as our escort into eternity.
