Pursuing the Promise - For the children of Israel and for Christians today, the walk into the Promised Land is accomplished by the power of God. God desires to move us out of the wilderness and into the place of blessing. Joshua reminds us that we can choose God’s way or another way. Which way will you choose?

Pursuing the Promise - As Joshua was running out of daylight, Joshua prayed and God intervened. He lengthened the day and shortened the night because the people of God followed His plan. If God is for us, who can stand against us? The God who fought for Israel enables us to face all that comes our way. By His power we are "more than conquerors" (Rom. 8:37).

Pursuing the Promise-This is the story of Jericho. The people of God had to decide whether they would continue the journey to where God wanted them. Would they move forward in spite of the obstacles, or would they once again retreat into safety? We each arrive at a similar crossroad. God does not place us on the planet without purpose; God has a divine design for each of us. But as we seek to follow God’s direction, difficulties confront us. Joshua teaches us how to overcome the obstacles.
