In this episode, we answer a question about the term wine in the Bible and if this could also mean grape juice. We describe why this would actually take one of Christ’s declarations of deity away from the text if it were read as grape juice. Then we turn to a question about how to witness to the lost without having the influence of the world affect our children. We also look at evangelism in our every day lives.

In this episode, we discuss the difference between the Septuagint (Greek translation of the Tanach) and the Masoretic Text (Hebrew tradition of the Tanach). If a person is wanting to study the original languages, which language should they study to read the Tanach (Old Testament)? Is the Septuagint more accurate than the Masoretic text since its older?
Also, a discussion on John 13:34 and the idea that Yeshua gives a new commandment. What is new about this commandment if we are told to love our neighbor as ourselves in the Torah?

Yet, as brothers and sisters in the Lord, how do we continue to fellowship with fellow believers? Then a look at a clip where someone suggests that enforcing the ancient Israelite law code on a modern society outside of its specific context would be considered evil. Finally, a short discussion on woman wearing tzitzit.

Extending grace based on biblical principles, caution in Torah observance, and challenges of maintaining faith in the face of institutionalized beliefs and isolation. Hanukkah reminds us to be a light in the world and extend forgiveness. Also, the tearing of the temple curtain during the crucifixion signifies the accessibility of God through the New Covenant, challenging the traditional interpretation and emphasizing the role of Yeshua’s high priesthood and sacrifice. Women’s teachings in Torah observant circles are questioned, and we advice discernment and skepticism towards certain teachers and leaders. Season 11 is starting next week, and the audience is asked for suggestions on what to talk about.

This video explores some fascinating insights on dispensational theology and how it shapes perspectives on Israel, the church, and end times prophecy. The concept of bilateral ecclesiology creates a theological divide between Israel and the church, leading to confusion about which scriptures apply to Gentiles. Christian Zionism is closely linked to dispensationalism, an interpretive framework invented by John Nelson Darby in the 1830s, not a biblical teaching. Darby’s unique take on Jeremiah 31:31 and the New Covenant marked a major shift in understanding God’s relationship with Israel versus the church. The dispensationalist idea of God turning his focus from the church back to Israel in the end times raises thought-provoking questions about the continued role of the Torah/Law. It’s fascinating how Romans 11, which discusses grafting in of Gentiles, factors into this complex theological debate. Attempts to blend dispensationalism with covenant theology lead to probing questions about God’s relationship with his people throughout different eras of history. Becoming part of God’s covenant people is through faith in Christ’s blood, not by becoming Jewish.

Believers can find peace and strength in the Messiah through grace, faith, and scripture alone, and should focus on the centrality of Yeshua for salvation and a one Torah hermeneutic in the Messianic Judaism and Hebrew Roots movements.
