Messianic Torah Observant Israel

People typically don’t engage in normal conversation on the topic of ‘evil’, although maybe a glancing discussion when they see something in a news headline or a movie/TV show that portrays something as they perceive as evil. But, do you know how much ‘evil’ is written about in your Bible? Do you know what the true, scriptural definition of ‘evil’ is? How does this knowledge affect your walk of faith.

Rabbi Steve Berkson is one of the small few that would take on the challenge of teaching from scripture about the topic of ‘evil’. You will be amazed and often surprised as Rabbi Berkson dissects the verses from the Bible, one-by-one if necessary, to teach what has been revealed to him and how these revelations will definitely impact your life – both physically and spiritually.

Rabbi Berkson decides to start from the beginning, in the book of Genesis, as he has done in other teachings, to provide a comprehensive understanding of this topic.

• Psalm 5:1 Evil can dwell within us
• Psalm 52:1 “Why do you boast in evil?”
• Psalm 119:97 “I have restrained my feet…”
• Psalm 141:1 It hurts the whole world
• He has to cause the suffering
• MTOI’s Conference of Leadership
• You think you don’t need a teacher?
• Jeremiah 2:1 “What unrighteousness have you found in me?”
• Handling Torah in our modern times
• Those who handle the Torah–who are they?
• The Golden Calf was not a “pagan idol”
• Jeremiah 2:12 You brought this on yourself

This topic is probably one of the most key and comprehensive themes underlying the entirety of scripture–the concept of being tahor (clean) or being tamei (unclean). Rabbi Steve Berkson hopes your perception of what you've been studying and a lot of what you've been doing will be impacted by this teaching.

Afterburn: also known in the world of fitness as the “afterburn effect”, simply put; The more intense the exercise, the more oxygen your body consumes afterward.

The same could be true as you build up your spiritual self. After an intense teaching session, you need answers as more thoughts and questions consume you in your spiritual growth.

Rabbi Steve Berkson, director of MTOI, provides an opportunity for the Afterburn to take place by additional thoughts and insight about what he just taught as well as answering questions from the local congregation and those watching the live stream.

Love and Torah – what’s love got to do with it? This study series is based on the “Two Great Commands” – love Yahweh and love your neighbor.

In this final episode Rabbi Steve Berkson moves to the 17th chapter of the Gospel according to John. This is where we we see Messiah Yeshua praying to His Father for those whom He chose and discipled to continue the work that He started.

Then moving to Deuteronomy chapter 30, Rabbi Berkson shows us that the plan of Elohim was to exile His people to other nations because of their disobedience, but that they would be regathered and once again do the commandments they were given which included loving their Elohim.

In Matthew 24 we see how a lawless generation devolves into love turning cold. Do not be deceived by false prophets who would tell you Torah is not for today or you could fall into the lawless category, thinking you have a relationship with Messiah and the Father, but coming up short at the end.

And finally, Rabbi Berkson takes us to Roman 8:28 to show us how Love is connected to Torah-keeping as the verse says, “all things work together for the good…”

Rabbi Berkson once again dissects these passages so that you will have a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you, so that you can do it and receive the blessings.
