There is a day of judgment coming. Are you ready to stand before the Judge of all? According to what will you be judged? What are “the Books” that will be opened at the Judgment? What kind of people should we be knowing that this event is just ahead of us?
Rabbi Steve Berkson asks the question, “Are You Listening?” He takes us to Deuteronomy chapter 4 to show the example of Moses exhorting the people just before they go into the Promised Land saying “And now, O Yisra’ĕl, listen to the laws and the right-rulings which I am teaching you to do, so that you live, and shall go in and possess the land which יהוה Elohim of your fathers is giving you.”

Where do we see in the scriptures examples of what to do or not do on Shabbat? Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us into some to the fine points regarding our behavior on Shabbat. He also gives us his favorite two verses that can be used to make a decision on anything that you may or may not do on Shabbat.
Is Isaiah 58 only referring to Yom Kippur? Rabbi Steve gives us his thoughts. How about Colossians 2:16–those who would judge you regarding the Sabbath? Rabbi Steve clarifies what this passage is referring to. What about the famous issue of “the ox in the ditch”? It may not be what it seems.

What is the “biblical calendar”? Who has the authority to say so? At this point in time does anyone really know?
This teaching is not intended to proclaim a “correct” calendar, but rather how the decision was made concerning the biblical calendar issue that would provide a shalom-filled solution to the Body of Messiah. Rabbi Steve Berkson says it was a “wilderness-wisdom decision”.
