Messianic Torah Observant Israel

Do you need to send your DNA to be tested to discover your identity? Not if you’ve become something other than what you were born. The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians (2 Cori 5:17) “Therefore, if anyone is in Messiah, he is a renewed creature – the old matters have passed away, see, all matters have become renewed!” Also in Galatians 3:29 “And if you are of Messiah, then you are seed of Aḇraham, and heirs according to promise.”
Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us to the place in The Scriptures where this change in identity began and how it happened, as well as promises given – to the man called Avram (Gen 12).

Song for Vayikra

Some say that Yeshua of Nazareth cannot be The Messiah because in His lineage there is a Moabite, Ruth the Moabitess. Moabites and Ammonites, the people who descended from Lot through the incestuous relationship with his daughters, are never to be a part of the assembly of Yahweh. Rabbi Steve Berkson delivers a blistering blow to this argument and at the same time teaches us about understanding our identity.
What is a “stranger”? What do we not see when we read our English translations of the Bible? Rabbi Steve takes us to Exodus 12 to show us what we’ve been missing.

Song for Vayk'hel-Pekudei

What does the Creator actually have to say in His Word about our “Identity Issues”? Are we “Gentile Believers” or something else? Who and what is Israel and what does it have to do with our identity? What was the purpose of Yeshua’s ministry? What is the “Good News” or “Gospel”? What is the “Two House” teaching? Does it even matter? Why was Yeshua talking about “Lost Sheep”? Who are these “Lost Sheep”? Does it have anything to do with us?
Rabbi Steve Berkson leads us through the “Greatest Jig-saw Puzzle” in the world, the scriptures, to show us the answers to these questions and much more.

At some point in your life you begin the journey toward the Forever Kingdom. How does this journey begin? Does it begin the same for everyone? How do you know you’re on the right path?
In this second installment of Covenant Community 101 Rabbi Steve Berkson teaches us about what it was that we felt/sensed when we began to seek Yahweh will all our heart, mind and strength.
Rabbi Steve also exhorts us about what he calls “The Battlefield of the Mind”, the daily struggle between the new man and the old man. This includes an explanation of what is called “Babylon” and how we must come out from among her. How do we do that?
