"The Book of Numbers Chapter 20: Grace Despite the Grumbling"Sometimes we look back in life and ask ourselves, where did all the years go? Likewise, what happened in those 38 years from the time the children of Israel reached Kadesh Barnea and remained there, until they could finally walk into the Promised Land. So close to the border yet they needed to wait because of sin. There was someone else who waited 38 years before he had his wish fulfilled, a wish to be able to even walk at all. The paralytic man was so close to the border of the pool of Beth Saida but he just couldn’t get in, not until Yeshua healed him, not until God’s unmerited favor, God’s undeserved goodness came to heal him. Likewise the water gushed from the rock at Horeb and Kadesh because of that same grace poured out on Israel when she was thirsty, even though she was still grumbling. God was unmatched for He covers our grumbling by His grace. So while we wait, let us not waste years. Let’s thirst for more because we are already at the border, ready to enter into the full and glorious grace of God. How good is Your grace Lord, over us?Blessings as you listen in to this message with Messianic leader, Jacques Isaac Gabizon in the Book of Numbers, chapter 20, shalom.bethariel.ca
