Catherine McGuire now in her 50’s first dipped her toe into entrepreneurship aged 25 purchasing her first investment property, but it was a change in personal circumstances that fully focused her ambition. Aged 46, Catherine found herself in an impossible place with her life imploding around her – with zero income, no savings or pension and about to lose her home. As a full-time carer to her youngest daughter, who was chronically ill, it wasn’t simply a case of knuckling down and getting a ‘job.’
One Saturday afternoon she was sat at her computer, and a little sign flashed in the corner of the screen saying ‘Do you want to learn how to be a property investor?’ Well, she said; “Yes actually, I did!”
Catherine already knew many wealthy people, all of whom had property portfolios. It struck a chord. So, with some property experience herself already, Catherine forged ahead. This wasn’t without self-sacrifice as it meant Catherine had to move out of her family home and in with her “amazingly supportive parents.” It wasn’t easy, but it was the beginning of her full-time venture into the property from which she hasn’t looked back. Within 18 months of her Mentorship training, Catherine had done it – she was finally, financially free.
Catherine set up her Consultancy in 2014 helping her now international client base to grow UK property portfolios and Mentors women (and some heart centred men!) all over the world in business as a Breakthrough Mentor, which she loves! It made complete sense for her to help others do what she had achieved, and she is very proud of her clients’ huge success.
She’s gone on to launch new businesses over the last five years and recently launched Rise Wise Woman with a business partner to create courses for women in business encompassing the full circle of business from Launch and Leverage to Exiting business.
It’s a passion project that’s already helping so many women.
When she’s not running her property empire or mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs, Catherine enjoys nothing more than working towards her goal of planting 1000 trees with time spent outdoors planting trees and wildflower meadows.
Catherine is living proof of just what is possible, even when the chips are down.

One of Dan's deepest desires is for true equality and fairness on Earth. He's passionate about bringing heart connection back to the world of business, respectful custodianship of mumma nature and to inspire meaningful change. Knowing that healing and change begin with the inner work and from there true transformation can happen.
Beyond chocolate (is there such a place!) Dan has been on an unfolding exploration of personal healing and growth for 2 decades. With his belief that the human body is a perfectly designed vehicle in which to experience this life, he's been working to heal and come back into alignment with himself. To use Dan's own words, "I'm in the best shape ever and there's more to come!"
Dan's journey has also lead him to be initiated as a New Warrior with the ManKind Project, connecting with fire and water through his training with sweat lodges, and through the lodge, his re-connection to this land is deepening and opening up.

Susie’s idyllic childhood was over shadowed by the messages she was taught by her elders, in particular that she must ‘obey’. This curse hung over her as she ventured into adulthood relationships with little experience of what being obedient could do to her. After three marriages, the child, once confident and often described by her teachers as a ‘leader’ became a women with little self-worth.
In our conversation Susie shares how she found her worth and battled with the demons left by being obedient.
At the age of fifty, Susie graduated with a first class degree in photography, which gave her confidence that she could do something well.
Drawing on her personal and professional experiences, Susie’s purpose is for women to know their real worth and to encourage them towards self-love and self-empowerment with this she founded ‘Women of Spirit’ in 2017 a movement that has gone from strength to strength. Sharing the message ‘to thrive, not just survive’ delivered through books and an online platform providing a community space for women to share, support, enlighten and inspire.

And this is what I have come to expect from Lizzie Salter, founder of The Kind Living Salon as I have spent time with her over the last year, her inner wisdom and vast knowledge have astounded me and with her big heart, for me she epitomises how humans can create a kinder world, and I had to share her with you.
Lizzie’s turning point came in 2017 when she found it difficult to access a beauty/ holistic therapy space that she knew was 100% vegan, organic and eco-conscious. Which lead her to creating The Kind Living Salon.
For the past 3 years she has been working toward establishing a unique hub with an environment that is tranquil, peaceful and in line with the lifestyle choices of the practitioners and therapists that work there, yet deliver a high standard of relaxing, supportive and educational services for all.
Ethically luxurious, relaxing and restorative, its beauty wrapped in kindness.
