This is Lore Dump – the show where I take a friend of mine who hasn’t experienced a particular game or franchise, and walk them through the full story. I’ve been thinking about Metal Gear Solid and Hideo Kojima a lot recently with the release of Death Stranding: Director’s Cut on the horizon, and rumours that Konami are going to remake – and probably mess up – Metal Gear Solid 1. So to get Snakes and Foxes, and one-armed pensioners out of my head, I invited my friend Chase to return to the microphone and let me explain the Metal Gear Solid lore to him. We did this for Resident Evil a couple months back and had a blast doing it, and a couple of people asked for another, so… here you go!
