We talked with Darroh Sudderth about touring, staying healthy on the road, how "Amarillo Sleeps On My Pillow" and "Rikki Tikki Tavi" came together as well as other quirks/Easter eggs on "Arrows and Anchors". We also talked about how the new bassist (Ryan) and drummer (Logan) are working out. We wrapped up with thoughts on best of 2011.

We sat down with Sean Z and talked about touring, response to "The Age Of Hell", what keeps them busy on the road (specifically gaming) and the future of Chimaira. Sean also commented on the differences between American and European touring - which funnily enough was quite a different reaction than we hear from European bands.

We sat down with Nick and Jacob to talk about touring, the writing/recording process and lyrical inspiration for their latest album, "Insurrection" and thoughts on best albums of 2011. The topic of a plan B also came up which resulted in an interesting plan involving 3 live drummers.

We Skyped with Tony and Simone from the Italian doom metal band (EchO). They shared details on the recording process of Devoid of Illusion, band history, and genre culture differences and similarities between Italy and the U.S. We also got some insight into the songwriting process, specifically on "Once Was A Man" and some tips on other Italian bands you're gonna want to check out.

Daigle and Jared caught up with Ben Orum after they annihilated The Black Sheep on their recent trek through Colorado Springs. He enlightened us on several topics including guitar specs (both live and studio), the key to striking a balance between band life and home life, the departure of Chris Storey and recruitment of Francesco Artusato, and plans for the rest of the year.

Jared recently had an opportunity to Skype with Niilo Sevänen. They discussed songwriting and clean vocals, the philosophy and challenge of tasty riffage, and influences. Niilo also commented on touring differences between Finland and USA, including the drinking habits of fans.
