MetalsPeak - Interviews

Matt, Brett, and Jon talk with Jared about the new album. Of particular interest is the genesis of the intro for "Amarillo Sleeps on My Pillow" which came about very organically and features an old marxophone.

Gavin talks with us about touring and crowd reaction to their last couple albums. Also, we get some feedback on what makes Dredg appealing to metal heads.

Richard Patrick talks to us about all things Filter: the song writing journey since their inception, early influences, future plans, and where it all began. He mentioned he'd like to see The Trouble With Angels get re-released with the promotion it deserves. We have to agree completely!

Kim Benzie chats with us about cultural differences between Australia and America, the distro deal with Sumerian, and touring

Joey Duenas talks with us about Anew Revolution's history, future plans, and much more! Plus he shared what has become one of Daigle's favorite anecdotes about the difference between people in New York and people in L.A.

Mike and Evan join us to talk about touring and their unique marketing approach for their latest album "Level 2". The nerd talk goes full blast on this one!

Sacha, Danny, and Dave join Jared for a chat about touring and the UK. Not to miss is the spot on impression of Robin Staps from The Ocean

Chris calls in to talk about the band's unique history, what has lead up to the current tour, and their signing with Unearth vocalist's label: Ironclad Recordings.

Lex and Jason talk about their success and touring with bands they've looked up to. Also of note is an interesting story involving Lex getting sick while on tour with Napalm Death and Devil Driver.

Jared's somewhat awkward interview with Justin from Unearth. Justin had just gotten over food poisoning and Jared had spaced that Justin's main band is Killswitch Engage. Good times!
