Metas & Mutants

DC Comics recently held its virtual Fandome event!  In this episode Super Cyguy and I give you our impressions of the event as well as our expectations for the industry going forward!

First, let me start off by apologizing for the audio quality.  We had a bunch of tech issues while recording this episode.  But we at Metas and Mutants pride ourselves on our ability to persevere.  In this episode, we talk about the different elements of a good superhero team.  We even create our official podcast super team!!

WE DON'T PLAY GAMES WITH COMICS!! Well, actually we kinda do.  On this episode, we talk about the myriad of comic book based video games over the years.  The good, the bad, and the downright face in the mud ugly.

The title says it all.  In this episode, Super Cyguy and Tombstone dive into the brilliance of Hickman's X-Men vision.

In this episode, we compare and contrast different geniuses in comic book universes.  Their strengths as well as what we perceive to be their weaknesses.

Okay...not really.  But we do discuss what might happen if certain characters were to fight other characters. Including Galactus vs Dr. Manhattan!

Hello, my fellow Metas & Mutants!  In this episode, Super Cyguy and Tombstone continue their discussion on Victor Von Doom.  This time they analyze Doom's invasion of Wakanda from the legendary "DoomWar" series!

In this episode, Tombstone and Super CyGuy discuss the Infamous Ironman series.  For those that haven't read it, it's one of the best arcs that center on Victor Von Doom.  More than a despot. More than a super-villain.  Doom is a complicated character.

The main topic this week?   The DC animated movie, Crisis On Two Earths!   Super Cyguy had never even seen it before.  But now that he has, he definitely has some opinions on it.

This week on Metas & Mutants we give our completely unsolicited opinion on what actors and actresses should play some of our favorite DC Comics characters.
